The only reason they don't tell you where to go in the ads is to prevent someone from just 'showing up. ' They could post a hotel and no room number, but oftentimes they will tell you within the add what general part of town they are in. It has absolutely nothing to do with LE. Call any of those numbers, and you will get a hotel, although perhaps not a room until it is closer to time. Posting a hotel poses no safety concern from either an LE or monger standpoint. Period. I will absolutely not edit my post. Also, here is a listing of hotels that I have seen girls at recently.

Red Roof Inn on Laurens (usually at least a few girls working out of here)

Sun and Sands in Easley.

Clarion near Haywood.

La Quinta off of Woodruff (another staple of the industry)

Sleep Inn off of Pleasentburg.

Holiday Inn off of Augusta.

Forget the hotel name off of I26 / exit 17 Spartanburg.

Sleep Inn in Clemson.

That's just off the top of my head at the moment. Guess how many people I put in danger by listing that? None. If LE is doing a sting, the first thing they are going to do is call the number and get a loc, knowing the general location in advance helps them none.

While I didn't go into detail in my logic on why this was not the case, I did provide a short overview. If you provide any counter arguments I can show why I am correct, but at the moment, you've simply, between one private message and this post, called it 'dumb. ' With no explanation, nor reason why. I assumed when you did it you had a simple lapse of judgment. The inclusion of information or lack thereof on this board, or in BP / TBD, etc. Posts is not indicative of anything. As it turns out, I would imagine that I know much better then most providers about what their safety concerns should be, as this is a field I happen to have some knowledge in. They would, in fact, be no more or less safe by advertiseing their particular hotels on the boards or in this forum. They WOULD be less safe by giving out room numbers, and as you can see, I have left out that information.

The barrier of entry for LE or people with bad intentions to get the information I provided is negligible. Period. Now the information could be gotten dumbly, (by using a land line based in a private residence that someone owns) to untraceable (using a pre paid phone paid with cash while driving, or any a people centric area) to double super secret untraceable and frameable (using a google account sniffed from using an Arpspoof / SSLstrip / Ettercap on the same Coffee Shop open wifi network on which the MITM (man in the middle) attack occurred.

So while the barrier to entry can be surmounted in a variety of ways, from incredibly stupid to incredibly sophisticated, it remains low enough to be non-existent.

As an observation. What if the particular lady had a stalker or a crazy ex? Who also knew what she did or was suspect? Now they have a location they are able to stake out without ever having to contact the lady. Yes they may be able to get the info somewhere, however most likely the info would be dated. If the PERSON wanted to cause a problem one step was eliminated.
