General Reports

A recent series of events have given me pause and time to reflect upon my being in the hobby and how it has affected me over the years. I have come to the conclusion that it is time for me to turn in my card and seek other avenues to happiness.

I've been in this area for a few years, and I've met some great people. I've built up at TDL of providers who I wanted to see; sadly, I'll not get to see them.

It's time for me to move on. After 20+ years in the hobby, I've had my share of fun. To those who are still in on both sides (hobbyist and provider alike), I wish the best of luck. I wish that I had a little black book to pass along to a newbie or deserving hobbyist, but my only legacy shall be the words on the various boards that I have contributed to and the memories in the minds of the few of you who have met me.

It is, it absolutely is. Hobbying is a very solitary event and not something you can do with family or friends. Recently, i've begun to look forward to going out hunting and turning away from social events, all for a few minutes of pleasure with the types of people i'd never ever consider associating with in "real" life.

I'm not even a very experienced cruiser, but I think I understand what you are saying, Dogbz.

But who else can you go to when you have an EHE? I understand the same old same old, and the odds of badness befalling you. Even if careful, they are a slight notch higher with the gangbangers and wannabes. It's a slower time in the 'hoods in comparison to a few years ago. When you are involuntarily solitary, it's always an option. When it's your only option, it certainly is a limited one in the long run.

I tend to drift in and out, some burn out, others actually get something in more than 2 dimensions going. Eventually, we all need to get some from somewhere.

Trust me, it's the case for a lot of us. We're out cruising and feeling the adrenaline rush. Then the actual event occurs and it's often a let down. Then you start thinking about all the time and money you wasted and the chances you took. A lot of us feel like shit, I know I always do the next morning when I say to myself: "I should've stayed home last night" as I'm looking at my empty wallet. But pretty soon, the idea for the next cruise starts taking shape in your head and the adrenaline rush starts all over again. It's a vicious cycle.

I will miss ya too Barista and do wish you luck on happier times with socials that keep ya going. I have to get back into the mongering after a few bad times with lame relationships as of lately. I don't know what is worth the price to pay either it is free or on the ave. Take care Barista !

I think you hit a cord with a lot of us on this board. I related with most responses, especially as Avenue noted that this hobby is a very solitary event. I think everyone will agree that mongering is addicting and has affected our lives, good and bad...perhaps mostly bad. Even when I look at my next car purchase, I have considered what vehicle would offer the best mongering experience. After doing this for 15+years, I too feel the need to get out, but am not ready for many reasons. Good luck and best wishes on your retirement.

This is an awfully solitary hobby. We go out alone, we score (or don't score) alone, we get busted alone, we go home alone.

There is an addictive element to the hobby, whether or not you pursue SWs, escorts or both. There is also a certain cyclical element that I'm now inclined to break.

I am more sad that I can't get a woody more often. I'm not that crazy about getting old. I've been doing this for a long time. Longer than most of you. On occasion I wish I had married a few of the old girlfriends, but mostly I loved the chase. It is not for everyone, but it is for me. I'm sad something like AIDS came along. I'm glad I've only been busted once. I'm sad that there are crack and meth addicts instead of good ole heroin addicts. I'm not addicted to Ho's, but maybe I once was. Now I do it more for fun than need and only rarely. You have to ask, is this what I want out of a relationship?
I understand self-recrimination and depression about hobbying, but wish I knew then what I know now. That I like pussy and this is not the worse thing you can do. Have some fun with the girls and try not to get robbed or diseases.
Hopefully you find a nicer path in life and don't find you were born or made emotionally handicapped. Is that too strong a term?

Hey Barista, I came to a thought that we do this hobby because of women?
They brought us to this challenge and part of it is due to the game we all have to deal with each time too. Take care dude !

About 8:00pm tonight I recieved a phone call from Ashlee, fresh off the plane and looking good in black her booty shorts and boots, with a see-thru blouse with pink-plaid trim. I got my usual good service from her. She is in a good mood and happy to come visit us for a while. Her plan is to be out on her usual spot Friday night.

I do the simple stroll report. I saw the best looking WSW ever tonight on Pac Hwy. Tall, long brown hair, thin (with super nice toned legs), short top on with very nice see's maybe the's. I had position A to pick her up, but out of fucking nowhere 5 wantabe pimps got all over case by the AM/PM. There were no less than 8 mongers lined up for her in the next 30 seconds.

Where are the places to go for SW action around here?

The basic strolls are as follows:

Denny Park/Hurricane Cafe:
The area around Denny Park is pretty active, but inconsistent (some nights lots of activity, others none). Check the side-streets north/northeast of the park - it's mostly low to mid track. SWs used to be pretty frequent around the Hurricane Cafe (W of Denny Park), but I haven't seen any lately. This map provides a good overview of the area:

Pac Hwy S/International Blvd/Aurora/Hwy 99:
Hwy 99 is a long strech of state hwy known for SWs. In the southend of the county (S Seattle, Tukwila, Seatac, Federal Way) it's known as International Blvd/Pac Hwy S. In central and north Seattle it's referred to as Aurora Ave or simply hwy 99. It's pretty much continguous except of a long strech between the south Seattle industrial area continuing into the central Seattle area.

If you want to stay in the Seattle area cruise between the Aurora Ave bridge (about 2 miles north of downtown Seattle) and around 250th st N. This actually takes you into Shoreline and eventually Lynnwood. You can actually cruise all the way into Edmonds and beyond depending on how far you want to go. The quality and quanity of SWs on this long stroll is quite variable some nights there's lots of activity with both low, mid and a some high-track SWs, other nights there's little going on. This maps shows a good general starting point if you are heading north:

The south area of the stroll is begins/ends about 12 south of downtown Seattle (as you probably noticed there's a seperate message board for Fed Way and Pac Hwy S). If you live in Seattle and don't have all night I'd skip this stroll, but it's certainly worthwhile if you have lots of time/gas. I actually haven't cruised this area much, but from what I've read activity and quality tends to be sporadic. This maps shows a good general starting point if you are heading south on hwy 99:
