Ever think about a being in a Bob Craft situation, where the spa is recording the session? I'm not quite as famous as him-but.

Years ago I saw a girl Felicia in a downtown loft that had a smoke detector with a flashing red light on the ceiling very near the massage table. I couldn't help but wonder if there was a camera in it. Not that it stopped me from returning.

I often have that thought in the back of my mind at spas and private residences.

Someone wondered that after the a popular spa's license check, if the cops may have hidden cameras. Probably silly and it certainly didn't stop me from going. I'm sure they don't-and that the girls would know / find them if they did.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Speaking of that, there was some STD talk. I haven't often opted for BBBJ but I did splurge a couple of times recently. I decided to test before reading the scuttlebutt. I got the all clear, just in case anyone was worried about the girls having something. No doubt that they test frequently.

Maybe that's the reason why I still come into the establishment with my shades and mask on. The only time I remove them is in the room.

Intelligence, common sense, and a grain of salt is all you need to enjoy these forums.

For me, 20% of the posts in these forums are interesting and useful, but the other 80% of the time they are pure humor and entertainment.

We all should be able to post what we want to post, within the rules of course. If others like our posts, great, if not, so be it. They can go read something else.

We should be able to enjoy the posts we like, and avoid the posts we don't like. All we have to do is look closely and we can tell what the post is all about and decide if it is worth our time.

If the post is filled with over the top praise about a provider, consider the monger posting it.

Do they get defensive and protective?

Do they seem to have been everywhere, done everything, and know everyone?

Do they self-promote a lot as if they are some kind of Casanova or the Lord of the AMP / Provider universe?

Do they openly disparage or start negative rumors about another Spa or provider?

Or do the posts just tell you about their experiences? Long or short, good or bad?

Naturally we want to know where to go to spend our hard earned time and money, but knowing where not to go is important too. All posts are not going to be positive recommendations. I find hearing of a bad experience to be as valuable as hearing about a great time.

You have to admit, once you weed out the junk and the BS we do get a fair amount of good intel to work with. Even the shills might point you in a good direction now and then.

All we have to do is read carefully, employ intelligence, use some common sense, and add a grain of salt, and you'll probably get a good understanding of who is posting and why. Then like a buffet, take what you want, leave the rest behind.

There are stories that are worth reading and some don't give much info (wam, bam, thank you ma'am).

The Bob Craft situation was sparked because an inspector found signs that the women were living there and they suspected human trafficking. With that being LE's motivation they set up a sting where they went in under the guise as repair men and set up their own cameras.

In SD, there are really only a few things what would focus LE on Spa in general or a spa specifically.

One is they suspect Human Trafficking. This is a huge topic and LE is tasked to address this with full force.

Another is that they are just in the regular cycle of "cracking" down on prostitution in all forms, SWalkers, Spas, Independent providers, etc. There will be an increased effort, they'll make an impact, and then move onto the next hot topic that occupies their man power. This is why we hear of sting's and busts, and guys get burned and then it's over. Till the next cycle of course. And it would suck to be "caught" in this cycle. Thus this hobby has risks.

The other is excessive business that draws the attention of the community or local businesses who complain about the activities. LE is compelled to respond to "complaints" and tips coming in from the community of suspicions behavior. So if your Spa stands out way too much and people complain, it will be under the eye of LE. A lot of "traffic" can look suspicious if it is a line of all men.

When LE does raid or bust a Spa, they're showing the community they're taking action responding to complaints or tips of illegal actions. When they speak with the providers and learn they are not being trafficked and have their credential in order it may go no further.

As for providers who have their own cameras set up. I personally don't worry about it because that feed is internal, and even if LE raids the place and reviews the feeds, I don't care because I'm not there.

LE only made one visit to VIP and that was in December of last year. As I've already mentioned, I am very very close friends with one of the owners. I am friends with the other owners as well. So much so, that I've become a fixture at their owners meetings and get togethers. Just about everything I'm reading here is untrue. Nobody on this board has a fraction of the information I have about this. If it doesn't come from me, take it with a grain of salt, as it is more than likely untrue.
