Korean Bar Reports

Been having a few drinks lately here. Very nice Mama and staff, older than what I'd go for but there are a couple in their 30's to 40's that are ok considering the area. Good food, but then again I always am hungry when I stop in so might be biased. Testing out the waters to see if any play but don't notice anyone going further than sitting together for a drink. I'll keep trying to see if can play with the younger looking one. Michelle (I think that was her name). Don't want to spend more if this place is just a tease. Anyone else know if there's other options in this place?

Was at Kapiolani 24 Hour Fitness. Came downstairs and look around the intersection of Atkinson and Kapiolani. The hustle and bustle. Femme Nu. Big signs advertising Victoria Spa and Relaxation that could be seen from the gym. Then I see this Korean establishment near the gym that 10 years ago was some Italian restaurant and I thought in more recent years as I drove by some kind of karaoke room rental place. I asked a guy outside of it and he said yes it is a bar with karaoke rooms. I peeked inside and it had really nice decor, including a stage for live music. There were no real customers around 7 pm but there were a couple of ladies sitting at the bar. I asked one what the name of the place and she said 777. Only a Korean sign outside. I guess this is a Korean hostess bar? BTW the renovated gym looks great with plenty of good equipments.

Stop at C Apple but was pack so when chick 409 and was kind of busy so next was Cleopatra. Saw Candy that use to be mama for Spotlight. Had some nice lady's like K. Next CS. Cindy was wearing red. Bought someone a drink but she got mad cause I was really drunk and drank her drink that I bought. Back to Apple. I think they had some kind party. Had poki, shrimp, rice and some other stuff.

There is a similar place on Makaloa Street; that place does have what I consider to be 'pseudo-hostesses', so this 777 establishment may or may not be simply a pupu and karaoke place.

Hey Oco bro, go check out a real KB already. FYI, at least 1 in 10 guys I see at the bars order non alcohic drinks. In other words very common thing if you can't handle alcohol or drive drunk etc. Lots of eye candy to see. Of course you might be one of those jellyfish LVBs with no will power in which case better not try, LOL.

Went Camelot first which was slow. Brian acking like one KBG nowdays calling customers on his cell outside the bar. Only LVBs in the booths like usual. Less girls than usual but probably because the princesses don't show until past 10 which is when I left. Talent not that good like before. Momo dead. Business slow for a Friday. Also only LVBs in the booths. I keep going in the womens restroom out of habit, LOL. Casino slow, Butts busy, Ellie not bad, Damour dead, EG dead. Twilight was so so and only LVBs both booths and bar. Nana STILL gives junk service to me, probably because I not one LVB. Ashley looking good and sitting with LVBs as usual. Splash busy.

First time was early 90s and don't remember the location of the bar. It was after a long day of some manual labor outdoors and I was stinking like a fish. Went with a much older supervisor to a hostess bar and he sat with a KBG not young. I sat across from them and a real young and pretty Korean girl sat next to me. The supervisor had invited her. I was so self conscious of my unwashed self that I did not say a word to her. She was like a sister to the attractive bartender. I had to fork out $20. 00 when we left and I did not know it would cost me. I was pissed.

Next time was six or seven years back and we went to one place in mid afternoon in Pearl Ridge after golf. I was way drunk already and may have forked over $20. 00.

Not going to go now when I am not drinking and I WASTED enough money at the AMPs as a pathetic LVB. Can't pour gasoline on the fire.

Momo (Momo dot com) had a small platoon of lazy girls sitting on their butts in back. Yuka, although she's one of the oldest, was the hottest one there.

Butterfly was uber busy with an influx of hostesses, but nothing really top-teir. Yumi from Splash is back and looking cute but she's only on a tourist visa and will leave again. There was also a skinny local-looking mixed girl, IMHO L=68.

Saw lots of young pretty girls in Romantei but did not stay.

Checked Tomorrow since it's been so long, and they were even slower than EG. I only saw 3 hostesses and less than 10 customers. J-Miki was sitting with her LVB, she must be half his age.

Not as busy as Friday at all town bars. Camelot, Momo, Jasmine, Business, Casino, Ellie, Damour, EG, and Twilight either slow or dead. Butts was kinda busy. Splash was so so. A lot of Chinese customers there now. I saw a joe cool looking guy with sunglasses mauling Mona in the booth. Good job bro. There is play to be had there but except for Mona who's early 20s, the play ones late 30s or early 40s kine. Nowdays bars dominated by older LVBs it seems. It was a LVB spectator night for me. Oh yeah, that joe cool guy was the only good singer there too.

White dudes, one with cap the other spike hair with black glasses. It happen two time when I went. When my friend went and back with a look on his face. So told him what, two dudes in the stall and he said yea. Then saw two different w guys. I always felt funny about that place that's why I hardly go. Gut feeling. After that night I not going back. I know somone was getting belot special in the room by the restroom cause you can see the girl cover the window with the towel.

D'Amour just one guy on bar (still got the $2 Beck's special) ; Ellie total ten customers. Ellie is one of the 'go to' bars for ono pupus; bartender Lina does the cooking and the other one (tattooed) the socializing. The pupus are classic, oldtime kaukau of the KB past; they no make this kind anymore because too much work to prepare (kalbi chim, bibim kooksoo, tempuras, etc.). Nothing to look at as far as KBGs, but some guys have positive comments on the sexiness of both bartenders. Jasmine was status quo, with its new regulars; overheard that the place is having biz problems (elevated rents, cash flow, etc.) ; reliable info.

Guy[/QUOTE]You're probably thinking back when Patty ran the place and it was known as New Office. Yes, that place was amazing back then. But then Miki took over and the place went downhill from there. Eventually their status as a 2am bar was starting to get shaky. But then when Maya took over, the place got a lot better. It wasn't like Office days but much improved. I think some people have smartened up and look at EG as a 2am bar now. So they would bar hop elsewhere and close off the night at EG. As a result lot of girls are probably working elsewhere and then EG later. Of course that place always has room action, so that could be why you didn't see as much girls or it was a slow night.

Tried Splash again, and this time it was like all different girls. With the exception of the juggy one (very large C or small D on display), who was very busy and had to take a lot of smoke breaks, I didn't see any of the ones I was interested in from the last time. It might have been my imagination, but it seemed like her top was getting progressively sloppier, like she'd been busting out her jugs then throwing them back in to go take yet another smoke break, then busting them out again. If she were an indie working out of her apartment, I'd be broke.

There were several new older hostesses in their late 30's to 40's. They'd be okay if they buffed themselves a bit more for this line of work. Also saw more Chinese girls there, sitting at the Chinese bar. I didn't get a close look but they seemed young and pretty.

The short 'drama bartendress' with the obvious hard-looking fake C's from EG was bartending. Her dress had way wide-open sides and she was quite the "Braless Wonder". She's way too flustered to be bartending IMO, and kept screwing-up the waiter's 2-item order even after he clearly told her 4 times.

Saw Ashley at Twilight who was looking very cute and VERY young. She stayed at the same table and her drink lasted well over an hour. Ms's expect cash flow, so maybe this ms doesn't care. She didn't even have to clean her own table, just left everything and the waiter had to deal with it. Anyway for you folks who want to sit with her, she will likely be stuck on a table for extended periods. Juliette, who was at Club Casino and reportedly Momo, was bartending. The only other 'exciting' thing was the loudmouth local bartendresses from Romantei who came in acting all nuts, yelling to (but not 'at') the bartender from the door.

Butterfly was Party Central and very busy. All hostesses busy except for this very pretty very sexy girl who declined to sit with me even though she was sitting there alone doing nothing. Oldee, where's that store of yours located?

Went to EG which was dead but stayed awhile for the view; the platoon was sitting around as usual but they were looking very good actually. Tiffany was downright beautiful and Mi Ni was the Import Model of the group.

After 2 am, some shapely caucasian women (in stature; they looked young but didn't have that 'kid' look) showed-up. I never saw them before; they looked like hot BP items or Hula's girls. One never sees that kind in KBs.

Sorry for the long report, I don't KB as much as before.
