First and most importantly, donations should NEVER be discussed in person EVER, never ever for any reason whatsoever.

Second, always put the entire donation in a ENVELOPE and place it within view at the START of your time. Ladies cannot relax thinking about it which is going to get in the way of them enjoying your company. Do place it well within the room or on the bathroom counter. NEVER HAND IT DIRECTLY TO HER! It's always good to write something like "rent" or "Happy Graduation" or something on the envelope. Say something like, "your gift is on the counter in the bathroom." Placing it in the bathroom also gives her a chance to discreetly go check it without being embarrassed.

Third, I don't care how well you know the lady or how much you trust her or the or the agency don't take your valuables or extra money to the location. It's just smart not to bring extra and I can't tell you how many times a gent has left an expensive watch or something behind. You never know if even a known lady you trust has relapsed or begun a bad habit or if she has some other person lingering around. Even good people turn bad.

Last of all, don't try to talk a girl down. (This also goes back to don't talk about donations) Now, I am speaking from what I hear ladies talk about in private and a small difference in what they have asked for will make a gigantic difference in the quality they give, it makes them feel insulted or like you do not feel she's worth what she's already set her mind at what she thinks she's worth. If a lady asks to much, find a different lady.

Once more: Never talk about donations. And this leads us to how do you find out what her donation is if it's not listed on her ad or site?

The appropriate way to inquire about any lady is exactly as follows:

"Hello, my name is Bubba. I am interested in seeing you on Thurs at two o'clock. What donation (or gift) would you like for an hour of your time?" It is also good to either provide a reference or if your not comfortable with references tell her something about yourself to make her comfortable like for instance, "I am a recently divorced Spanish 35 year old traveling business man.".

Try to think of what she will need to ask and anticipate it by telling her first and you will have less problems with her comfort level.

Anyway, that's my experience from a lady's view.
