It wasn't my poll it was A2's & don't want or need another poll on this subject.

The poll was put up by A2 sometime in May 2014 as stated in my last post with links to the OP (which is A2) to see if there was enough against Massholes to shut it down.

The decision has already been made to keep Massholes open & that I doubt will ever change for obvious reasons.

Plain hard facts the constant bashing and belittling of members and newbies. It is dominated by certain senior members who think their shit doesn't stink and yet they fail to remember what it was like when they first joined this site.

Some of us came to the aid of these new members who were being intimidated by you and others. LMAO123 had very few posts at the time and you guys tried to run him and others off the board. Below is the initial post from LMAO123 and your post and others. Unfortunately the content of your post is gone forever however we all remember only too well the bullying theme contained within. Filled with the self righteous indignation of others who did not share your views. Much of the recent bashing involves other pompous members of your little cabal coming back to life in disguise as well as newer members with hundreds of worthless posts in a short period of time. This is a forum where everyone has to take a little heat once in awhile. Check my posting history at the very beginning. I think 17 of my first 25 posts were reviews albeit the kind you despise as they contained great detail. However I was flamed at the very outset and I simply fought back and soldiered on. We don't need to coddle new members here although I do agree that a member doesn't need to be flogged simply for asking information in his first post. There are too many lately that ask for info say in their first 20 posts.

I have more issues with people going after newbies when their first post comes in a form of a question. In the past I probably was guilty of doing it once or twice myself but since came to realize that it was a wrong thing to do and makes us all look like a grumpy unfriendly bunch of idiot assholes which of course we are so not! I look around, I read post and I just know that we're all here nice lovie-dovie and heavily into support, sharing and encouragement!

If somebody constantly asks questions but never posts a review, that's one thing. Tear him to pieces and throw him to the wolves. Especially it applies to those assholes who like to trade their years old outdated info for what's live and current. In my book those hobbyists are the lowest of the low, below the house bug on evolutionary scale and deserve to be abducted by ISIS. Just like that. Every day I pray for them to one day become sex slaves to some gay al-Qaeda operative somewhere in Rajifuckjidickupyoassistan before having their necks examined once their rears turn too loose for utilization. All I know that this type of approach cuts down on our membership, that's all. I know that for a fact because I'm in touch with couple of pretty active 1 posters who decided not to post on the open forum after their first post was rebuffed since it came in a form of a question. From time to time I get good tips from one of them, none of which ever come from the backpage. Whose loss it is that this guy decided not to post? The guy's who told him to wright a review. Especially since most of what this one time poster fed me so far is totally up that guy's taste.

I'm sure many of them after receiving such cold showers remain lurkers and share only via PM and only with those hobbyists that they believe are not assholes.
