While that is a law, around here the usual charge listed for prostitutes with let's say 'a condition' will be Aggravated Assault.
It will read as: "AGG ASSAULT (INTENTIONAL OR KNOWING)" used under the criminal exposure law (TCA 39-13-109: Criminal Exposure to HIV, HBV, HCV). HIV is obvious, HBV is Hep "B" and HCV is Hep "C". This was a new law in 2011.

Agg Assault was the charge on the person (s) previously referred to as in the knox mugshot listings. BUT be careful when looking for this, cause the charge kind of has different forms. So obviously, not everyone listed as agg assault got it thru prostitution - most just beat the piss outta somebody!

13-109 is really fucking long so I'm not going to post the whole thing but the first two sections are germane " (a) A person commits the offense of criminal exposure of another to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) , to hepatitis B virus (HBV) , or to hepatitis C virus (HCV) when, knowing that the person is infected with HIV, with HBV, or with HCV, the person knowingly: (1) Engages in intimate contact with another; (2) Transfers, donates, or provides blood, tissue, semen, organs, or other potentially infectious body fluids or parts for transfusion, transplantation, insemination, or other administration to another in any manner that presents a significant risk of HIV, HBV or HCV transmission;"
Sooooo if a provider in Tennessee has a [b]conviction[/b] for either 39-13-109 or 516, one can reasonably presume they have been confirmed as a carrier of the above illnesses by a competent authority and then yes, you may indeed post a warning about it [b]Including[/b] the link to the [b]internet-accessible public records[/b] in a [b]Designated STD Thread[/b]. Any posts of this kind anywhere else will receive the STD infraction. Also, just to speak generally, I didn't really intend to start a summit on debating the forum rules. Obviously they are what they are for a reason. Any anonymous poster can say "Suzie Goodtime gave me the clap" with no proof to back it up.

Last week, a friend was arrested for "solicitation of prostitution near a church or school." He is not a regular hobbyist and too young to have good judgement I guess. He fell for the BP sting. He made the call, left work early, went somewhere off Cedar Bluff Road. His story- "I just wanted a massage, I felt weird about it when I got to the address and it was a hotel, but I went in anyway. She asked if I had a condom, I told her no why? She threw one to me and that's when they burst in and arrested me." Now the funny part- another friend, who happens to be a Knox county sheriff, told me about his exploits of busting "Johns" last week. Included in his story was my coworker. I had to ask, so he obliged. The officers story- " He called her all day from the time the ad was posted. Every time he asked specific details of what he wanted from the date. When he arrived, he couldn't get in the door fast enough and immediately undressed, even before exchanging money. He then asked for a condom and said he only had 30 minutes to spare before his wife got worried. Threw her the negotiated amount. We were laughing so hard it was difficult to compose ourselves before we went in to arrest him."
