A while ago went to visit Miko at Cypress again. This is a repeat. Lost count on how many times repeated. When giving the tip at the end of service is it common to place the tip somewhere the provider sees it or hand it directly to them. What does it mean if the provider doesn't pick up the tip in front of you until you leave the room?

If you have a car, validated parking is available inside the garage. Walk-ins are welcome at most places, but It's best to make an appointment. That's a good thing. It means she trusted you. Here, It's not "Polite" to count the tip in front of the customer. Many times if it's your first encounter with that provider there isn't that trust yet.

Most providers grab the tip & give a quick look, haven't noticed any of them count it.
This last visit started good but ended kind of mechanical, no connection. The provider never grabbed at the tip and it kind of made me feel like she didn't want my money. First time I've had a provider not grab the tip in front of me & since it was a mechanical ending I thought maybe she didn't like me.

Asia Spa is near there, on Fern Street (even though the building's address is Kalakaua Ave).
If you were to walk along Fern (away from Home Bar), you would be proceeding as shown by the arrow in the map. The parking lot on your left (across the homeless camp), just a couple doors from the corner, is where Asia's entrance is. They are up the stairs on the second floor.
