Most elective procedures and tests are not covered, only the in initial PCP visit to get the recommendation for the test or specialist would be covered and subject to co-pay. HPV is the most common STD there is with millions of cases very year and millions more that are asymptomatic showing no signs ever. Some cases can lead to things like genital warts, ovarian cancer, and many kore things. Some cases are benign and cause no issue for the person and not even transmitted by that person. It's a common screen when testing. I always ask for a full panel and pay about 200 each time. I go every 3 months and think it's a fair amount to pay to know I'm still clean considering the 1000-2000 dollars I spend a month mongering.
