Most likely if they're looking for anyone who called a number out of the thousands, if not tens of thousands of guys who called the number, something bad has happened and the more invisible you are, the more curious they become. And if something truly bad happened, you want your name crossed off their list sooner rather than later.

It would take alot more than suspicion of a misdemeanor to get a subpoena for info from google. Google voice does the job keeping your real info hidden from the providers & "handlers" and as long as you don't forget to sign off the app before you go home, there's no risk you'll get a call or text when you don't want one.

I would add that IMO mariyah is not just "very short" as that's what I read before I saw her and I had something different in mind.
