Also comments were made by others, that was weeks ago, so why no reports on the news of mongers getting robbed?

Then I thought about it, and why would a DB point a gun at a monger's head after taking from a monger and then pulling the trigger? Most people would assume it was loaded, and usually it would be loaded! So if the DB or handler was that nuts, why didn't he use his own gun to shoot Archy or a knife? Why pull the trigger on a gun you think is loaded unless you want to kill? And if you want to kill and the gun is empty, why then stop with one sucker punch?

Hmmm, it sure does not pass the smell test, now that I think about it.

Bad news is the story had me stop mongering out of fear, it was scary as crap. Double bad news is that I now do not believe the story, it was all make believe!

I cannot vouch for the validity of ArchyRozay's storied encounter but I do know that our hobby comes with risks that can be life changing or life ending. I have meet numerous individuals during my 25 years in the hobby and sad to say some are no longer on this side of the ground. I personally know two hobbyist that were set up during encounters.

One, about 15 years ago, was set up during an in call visit to a private residence. He was overcome by the occupants in the house and taken to a ATM for withdrawals. Once the ATM daily limit was taken, the hobbyist was stabbed to unconsciousness, thrown in his vehicle's trunk and the vehicle was doused with gasoline and torched in the middle of a field.

This past year a hobbyist set up an out call to his residence. The provider arrived with friends that somehow gained entrance to the residence. Again this hobbyist was taken to numerous ATM's but he refused to divulge the pin number. He too was stabbed to unconsciousness and he was thrown from his moving vehicle, luckily in Georgia which made this a federal crime.

Yes both hobbyist survived though scarred. All of the perpetrators have been caught and all but one perpetrator was sentenced to multiple decades in prison, one perpetrator is still awaiting trial.

In my hobbying I have had to involve the police a half dozen times. They are not pleased at my form of recreation but in the end they have always protected the public from worse offenders.

Keep your head on a swivel, stay safe and report these type of encounters to this forum and the police.

This whole conversation about whether the stories on the site are true remind me of Chris Rock's bit about couples. You know the bit.

I think this is true of trying to find a provider in Jacksonville. If the hardest drug you've ever done is weed, and your provider is stoned, you're probably fine.

If you've used meth or crack, and your provider is on meth or crack, you'll probably find a way to make it work.

The problem is that most of us haven't used meth or crack, and just about every provider on STG is hitting those pipes.

The last time I saw a provider, she wanted to smoke up in the room. I was not cool and bailed. I'm a teetotaler; I've never smoked weed or cigs.

I don't need the situation to escalate to muggings and stabbings to know that the scene is dangerous right now. And I don't need that much drama in my life. So I'm being VERY cautious right now.

Everyone here has to determine how much risk they're willing to take to hobby.

And just because you have a senior member mark next to your name doesn't give your stories any more credibility than any of mine. Go look at my past contributions to the board and you will see fairly detailed, accurate accounts of different dreams that I have had with providers. I like to provide long write-ups on providers and haven't been bothered to write them up yet. Last time I checked, there wasn't a rule that says you have to immediately write a review once you've seen a provider. Like WTF. Unfortunately, my situation with Desi and her boyfriend was NOT a dream. All these people on the board trying to poke holes in the story is just sad bc you know so frighteningly little about the situation and here you are jumping to conclusions without even trying to PM me for more details or anything. It shows how people are trying to justify to themselves reasons as to why they should continue seeing said provider. FWIW, I didn't tell anyone to take her page down or that SHE would rob you. I wasn't even there to see her. Continue at your own risk but rest assured, everything that I have posted here is 100% accurate information and I'm hoping it doesn't happen to anybody else.

I have often seen where a girl is a problem or there was something about her that, if reported early, would have saved others a lot of grief and inconvenience. I've seen where guys are talking about a girl, let's say, the week of October 25th, and how bad she was. Then, another joker comes along and says I saw her last month and she was awful. At this point, I want to say, "why report it now!" I know there is not a policy on when to report, but fellas, if there is something about a girl that we need to know so we can avoid her, I hope all of us make an effort to report ASAP. I mean, I know, of late, I have been guilty of this, so I will try to do better as well. Now if a girl and DB are robbing people, I would hope we'd report this stat! It could be a matter of life or death, TBH. Not busting anyone's chops, but again, hopefully, we will report more timely. Timeliness is what makes this board's information invaluable! If you feel the need to carry a gun to a "date", it should be time to reassess your life choices. One of the main points you learn early on as a gun owner and is especially driven in during your CCW training is that when you draw your weapon be prepared to take a life.

You don't strap a weapon on and then put yourself in a risky situation thinking that gunning down another human is going to save your ass from the court room. How fucking stupid are you? Someone breaks into my home and I cut them in half with my shotgun, no regrets. Going to meet a hooker for illegal activities and having to explain why I was strapped and drew a weapon? Wear it everywhere else. Only exception (besides the obvious places) I make is to bar or anywhere where there's alcohol, because I'm drinking LOL. This hobby will never be an exception to that. I can tell countless stories but that's only anecdotal. Responsible gun owner is a responsible gun owner regardless. Not like your walking into a situation thinking "I may need this". If like me then I tote it regardless like Chaptick. Like my chapstick I don't let it be known or seen. You are right, guns only have one purpose, and if your giddy, you might as well have a plastic spoon. They were single shot weapons. The pistol were frequently fired and then spun around and used as a club. That's really suspect. Benefit of the doubt I'm thinking he tried to reach for and the dude man-handled and got it. Which is another no-no.

I've been at gunpoint with and without a piece on me. If I know I'll just forfeit a wallet, some change whatever I'm cool with that no need to escalate it. There's been times when I had to. Yet most times Law & Order keep me above water (left and righty). People rush to get guns and don't know how to use the oldest weapons in history. People also need to know how to take a hit, and keep pushing foward. Only way I think the dude got his gun is because he tried to pull it or punk the dude and he looking sweet. I believe in responsible gun ownership, understand the needs and desires of those who hunt, and don't want to take away a person's ability to reasonably defend themselves. And if you want to collect guns because you think some of them are cool, I'm down. I used to collect comic books. I get it.

I am incredibly afraid of anything that can fire off bullets faster than I can count, especially when these sort of weapons end up in the hands of those least qualified to own a slingshot.

If we could all come together on that issue and minimize the number of crazy multiple-person shootings in the US, I'll be happy. Yes, I have all sorts of clever arguments about the 2nd amendment and the founding fathers and whatnot, but really, it all boils down to I just don't want to get shot.
