With the bond that was placed on them, there's a good chance they don't get out until they've finished their sentences. In the case of the 85 year old, that is probably never. How many people are going to give a bondsman. $50 k that they'll never get back to get someone out. The other option itto put up property but I believe if they do that the property has to be worth double the bail. I doubt their bail gets reduced.
