Personally, I like Pueblo Amigo, but it's not walking distance to the zona. Lots of guys like Ticuan. If I want to stay on Revolucion, I usually choose Hotel Caesar.

Hey guys, not new to mongering in US but new to TJ. Planning heading down there Tuesday in PM to Zona, HK after hearing all about it. Don't speak spanish though-will that be an issue?. Anyone heading down there want to be a wingman? I'm early 30's, asian.

Looking for Info on crossing and coming back across:

I have a "Real CA I'd" and by the time I make the trip I will have had my 2nd Pfizer Vaccine shot with a card to prove it, will that get me back into San Ysidro?

I was at HK last night and stayed at Cascadas. The club (HK) it's self stayed open until 5 am which was great. Then at 5 am they moved everyone up to the 10th floor where the party got even better. I'd never been up there before, only to the speak easy on the 7th. But damn there were some hot girls last night!

Was thinking of taking a new camera to the zoo in SD and spending a couple of nights in TJ then up to the Eastern Sierras for 7 or 10 days to do some trout fishing. If I am going to have trouble getting back into San Ysidro I just might make it a two week fishing trip.

Didn't bring agency girls there but the bar girls used to like it since it's away from the Zona. It's a motel, which might be handy if you drive over.

So yes, a drivers license is enough. However, they can take a lot longer to verify you if you don't have a passport. They may decide to teach you a lesson by sending you to secondary screening, which can take a while. Plan extra time to cross if you are headed directly to the airport.

It's not so bad if you go in person and pay in pesos, but their online reservation system sucks. They have so many different levels of rooms, it's a real pain to try to make a reservation. It is a great place if discretion is important to you. Girls can come directly to your room without having to check in at the front desk. Location is pretty good -- close to Revo and Zona Rio, and not too far from Zona Norte.

Do you know what they're rates are like during the week and if it's as busy? I know you need a reservation on weekends because they sell out. I've never stayed there. One thing about Hotel Baja is they seem to always have available rooms and no matter what day of the week it seems to be about 35-40 dls. Moe.
