While I have no doubt the examples given by the OP as an explanation for Florida NOT having entrapment laws are true, they do not stand for the proposition for a lack of such laws. Rather, they stand for the proposition that such laws are not always followed by law enforcement. From a jaded perspective, it's not hard to argue that cops are crooked, or they don't know the law, they don't care about the public, or whatever else. Trying to be as objective as possible, there are other issues at play as well. For example, LE might have a sting set up to bust guys trying to pick up street walkers. A guy pulls up to the UC, a conversation takes place and, while not necessarily blatantly offering cash for sex, it is clear what is going on. Then the guy looks to drive away. LE might well stop him and make the arrest to prevent him from going online and warning others about the sting operation. Another example would be where the sting is in a hotel room, the guy shows up, goes to the room of the UC and goes to fondle her breasts or crotch. LE might effectuate the arrest to avoid the physical contact between the guy and the UC. I do not mean to suggest that the gentlemen in the examples I gave SHOULD be arrested, I merely mean to suggest that, being objective, one might understand why LE effectuated the arrest. And, as has been suggested, a decent defense attorney ought to be able to obtain a favorable outcome for those examples. We should all be as cautious as we can out there. That said, there is just no way to 100% guarantee you'll never be arrested when participating in the hobby life. We can all be proactive in minimizing our risk, just know you cannot completely eliminate risk.

Even when you win, they still win.

As a Public Service and as a reminder, I'd like to mention and remind everyone that it's Bike Week this week, therefore another "major event" is in the area and ripe for Stingers and other nasty Traps that Uncle likes to set. As the week progresses, there will be lots of visitors in town over from the East Coast. Reports are the hotels are "sold out" in Daytona and there's lots of overflow in Orlando as usual.

I don't post very often, but wanted to give everyone a heads up on Lauren. She's always had some issues here and there but has always been mostly reliable and fun. Not right now. I'd avoid her at all costs for the time being. I'm not even 100% sure it was really her texting me. New "boyfriend" maybe.

Her BBBJ is great and I used to be a regular and only did 40. She is still at Parc Conriche or whatever it is called off idrive and we did plenty of car BBBJ for 40. I called her to see her the other day and she picked up then texted me the address. But just as I was about to leave she said she had given me the wrong address. 10 minutes later she sent a new address. I called off the date at that point. I've seen her a ton of times over the past 5 years or so. But, that was just a little weird.

I've seen her numerous times in numerous situations, including taking her 20 minutes off the Trail to my safest place and I have never given her more than a Graint or Trip Jacks maybe once or twice. Most sessions I give her a pair of Jacks or less for a big box garage FS session. I know she was being quasi-pimped out on the SW Thread as if she were UTR. Hopefully that shit didn't stick in her head that she thinks she has now become Weezie Jefferson and is movin' on up to the big time. LOL. I passed her twice in the past few weeks where she was doing her best to wave me down, then when I passed, she shrugged her shoulders are me. I am glad I didn't stop if she's expecting the Big-Big Money now.

Raven the star is back in town. Met her by the Wawa South on the trail and went to her safe place fairly close. 200 for QV FS. Usually out of my range for roses but I just had to so I can scratch an online star off my bucket list. Definitely worth it but I wouldn't repeat. 200 can get me a weeks worth of fun elsewhere. Can't eat steak everyday.
