No candy habits but her full time is loan officer at bank. Should have seen both our faces when I had walked into the branch in my job revealing attire. We both had a good laugh about it later and still are friends.

Completely understand about candy habit thing and the difficulties associated with it. These girls are mostly broken before they ever hit the streets. The candy is the only thing that numbs them and well, let's face it selling themselves to a bunch of strange men at will isn't going to build self esteem, self worth. They spiral down to the point where they die, or hit bottom. Some surrender and change their lives. I know, I am a recovering addict with 31 plus years clean. The last one I attempted to captain, robbed me twice. The main thing is that one cannot expect rational thinking from an irrational person. The only thing they know is get money to get the candy. It is a very sad state of affairs for them. I try to find one that is enjoyable, both physically and that I can get to know. It at least creates a 'feeling' of a relationship. From time to time I take them out to dinner and a movie and give them some dignity. I never treat them as less than. I too could be there but for the grace of god. If someone asks me to 'captain' them, I immediately let them know that the captain does not get sample the products and guide as best I can. Twice in my life I have been able to help two get off the streets. One is now married to a successful contractor and has two kids. The other went home to Texas and from time to time I hear from her. I bought her plane ticket home for her as a going away present. Two successes and at least a hundred failed attempts. But, the two make ti all worth it. I do not want a wife or a steady girlfriend, so for me mongering is my way of having fun. But, never at the expense of the dignity of another human being. I have heard many of their stories. I have to say, I find them to be stronger than most. Many would have killed themselves having been what they've been through. They are suffering so much pain to stay alive. I try to bring some moments of joy in their lives. I find out their birthdays and bring them a card. Tonight I had one old friend call me and she was hungry. I brought her dinner and smokes ot her hotel room. Listened to her troubles and hugged her and left. She smiled and thanked me. She said," your a good dude. " I could've probably gotten a BBBJ free. Whether she's a SW or a back page girl they serve one purpose and that is to service my needs. Most are paid quite well, and most if not all share the same feelings about me. Its not easy to get clean especially when your home is on the streets but that's not my problem. We've all watched enough episodes of intervention to know all we are doing is enabling. Most don't give two shits about you and if the thought they could rip you, they would. Truth is, the only time I have ever offered help is when they ask and even then, I am cautious about it. I have seen these girls ask for help just so they could set you up. Period. Every now and then one gets under my skin and it can lead to troubles for both parties. Business is business.
