I was rolling along the 110 FWY and noticed the change in signage. Anyone know when the change took place? Did Deja Vu buy the club (or) is it just "branding" along with "management consulting"?
Posted here because it is technically in Harbor Gateway (Los Angeles County) -- although it is close to Torrance.

Bottom line is the big chains DejaVu and Spearmint Rhino operate within the varying limits of tolerance in the various locations where they are doing business. So at the outlets in City of Industry you'll find the full range of play available from many or most but not all of the dancers working at those locations. In fact every wide open club in the COI area is part of a large or smaller chain. Aside from DV and SR, Synn and Paradise are commonly owned and they also operate Sahara in Anaheim and who knows what else. Monarchs on the site of the late pioneering Hawaii Theatre (also part of a chain) is owned by Spearmint Rhino.
Variances in mileage are not a problem because extras are so standard that no dancer will ever be offended if you just come out and ask them if they have a menu. They expect to have that conversation. Most are not deceptive and if they aren't direct as to if they do or they don't, just move on to another girl.
Other locations that operate in more restrictive local environments aren't as reliable at least for high mileage lap dances. But in SoCal these days you can get what you're looking for just about anywhere if you're willing to pay for VIP dances but you really have to be on guard for the ROBs.
BTW, for newbies, this is not a new and delicate phenomenon. The heavy action has been going on in COI for 20 years without interruption. Local authorities are fully aware of the reputation and always talk about shutting it down, but I doubt that will happen anytime very soon (that is unless the unlikely scenario of an NFL team moving to a new stadium that COI's 300 voters approved years ago actually materializes).
