Chances are she is either a pro, or an "experienced non-pro". Professional providers do definitely respond to CL posts often these days, and a number of them post themselves. And since the poor economic situation is lingering "experienced non-pros" are more frequent as well.

Best not to be specific in an email if you are looking for P4P, but rather arrange to meet for coffee and discuss face-to-face. Another option is to inquire what level of "help" your respondent has in mind, while avoiding a written "yes I'll pay that" response. Again, do a meet and gauge the situation then. Keep in mind that a genuine non-pro will be more concerned for her safety (as she should be) than a huge score, while a pro will concentrate on setting rates. There is always the possibility that a non-pro, once met, will find you attractive and pleasant enough that you end up with a FWB situation. It has happened to me more than once.

In my experience, if you post like a gentleman, you tend to get much younger and very attractive girls ages 18-25. When I post ads that say. Want a fwb that will suck me dry. I tend to get alot of pros. Put thought into your ads you'll be surprised what fish you catch.

Also really common to have a respondent to a post quote something like $400 to $500 for companionship because she feels as a non-pro she is "special","unique", and not one of "those girls". CL appears to now be attracting mostly pros or semi-pros again after a long drought, so finding a non-pro is increasingly difficult, especially if you're over 35. But they are there. I hooked up with an older (over 40) lady whom I am still seeing a few weeks ago through CL, and she reports a lot of guys are expecting SW rates apply to CL, which she just refused to consider. We quickly came to an arrangement when I came up a bit, and she came down a bit, and everyone's happy. I tend to see one lady on a repetitive basis, rather than see as many ladies as I can, and CL providers appreciate the repeat attention, and tend to show that appreciation.
