Detroit requires the girls have a license from the city to dance.

Just another case of the management being stupid.

I drove by tonight. He has his address as a backlit sign hanging from the area that covers his front stoop, so the address is easily readable from the road. The place is in a decent part of town, surprisingly enough. Everything was dark, and I didn't call to set an "appointment".

Has anyone been here yet? Can we get a report?

Word has it this is not this girls first trip to the show. She may have danced at other clubs in the metro area where you don't need a dance license. This maybe the final nail for Allstars, the shootings and other issues may give Wayne county the ammo to pull their license.

Went to Thunderbolts the other night just wanted to be able to say I had been there. Just like the article said it is a dingy house on the east side. The girls were great, very friendly and almost like friends at a party, but he does ask for twenty in the door and unlike the article he wants you to split after the money is spent. Very interesting experience I imagine it will end soon now that he is on the radar screen.

I stopped at H8S Friday at @ noon, selection wasn't good. Lori and Deanna were there but the rest of the bunch I wouldn't touch.
I waited there for about an hour hoping someone decent would show up to work, but no one did.

So I hit the road and decided to check out The Hustler Club for the first time. Valet was $6, no cover charge, I was worried I wouldn't be admitted the way I was dressed (jeans, t-shirt covered with a flannel shirt, beat-up sports shoes) but there weren't too many customers so they weren't being picky.

Sat at the bar, beer was $3, cheaper than H8S. The bartender arranged for a couple girls to give me a tour.

The talent here was a lot better than H8S but not as good as I remembered from Penthouse, there were a few cuties but also some dogs. As is usually the case the oldest dancer in the club sat down with me. I tried to act uninterested but she wouldn't leave until a gorgeous Asian girl sat down a couple seats to my right. I took the opportunity to talk with her and soon Lina and I were headed upstairs for a private dance.

Lina is Vietnamese, short, maybe 5'2", and maybe 100 lbs at the most. Nice perky tits and long black hair. Just about perfect for me.
Great dance in one of the $20 vip rooms.

Expensive, but a great experience. I'll be back to try some of the other girls soon.

Went to Henry's Saturday night. About 10 dancers working. Waited around drinking until "Sexy", the tall, black Puerto Rican, came up with her usual "Want to suck and fuck?" I said sure, how much? She said "40, 50, 60." Forty sounded good to me. She agreed.

Went in back, saw the booth setup for the first time. She took the one just inside the door. CBJ for a while, then she turned around, pointed her ass at me and just stuck it in for a minute or two. Then resorted to HJ. She gets bored and irritable if you don't finish up in like 90 seconds, and she did that again that night. It detracted from the experience, as does the fact that she makes it clear she doesn't want any bodily fluids touching her. The minute you start to cum she leaps up and leaves you to yourself. No tip for her.

But the booth setup turns out not to be as bad as expected.

Might be headed to Novi for the weekend.

Any suggestions for clubs?

If it were me, I would take I 275 south to Michigan Avenue, head east to City of Inkster, between Merriman and Middlebelt you have Flight club (high end club) on the South side of Michigan Ave, Bogarts (down and dirty club) on the North side. Depending on what you like, you have an option.

She could offer me money and I'd decline to go near her. She is one foul broad and needs to go back home. She also works the streets, in case you guys didn't know. It's all geography anyway.

I was driving down Michigan Ave recently and noticed that Hardbody was being renamed Starvin Marvin's. This seemed odd, as only a matter of months ago the club to the east, formerly Sunset Strip, had been renamed Starvin Marvin's. Does anyone know what is going on there? Are both clubs under same ownership now? Will the former Sunset Strip be renamed again? Just interested. I stopped patronizing Hardbody many years ago because of what I thought was poor management. Will that change?

Lots of LE out there, but IMO she's not worth the $40 in or out of the club. A certifiable nutjob if there ever was one-better to steer clear. She'll make a deal with you in the club, so why take a chance on the Ave?

I don't think anything will change. In the late 70's and early 80's Sunset Strip was called Stavin Marvin's. Over the years it may have changed back a few times. Different name same thing only in that part of town things my have become more dangerous. I have only been to Hard Bodies 1 time about 20 years ago. I stayed about 1/2 hour and left and haven't been back. The bar was ok just not my cup of tea.

Stopped in at Henrys last night. Not a lot of talent there last night. Anyways I saw Erica, who last time I was there, I said I would get a dance from, but never did, because she went in the back for like 10 minutes, and I got tired of waiting, and I got a dance from Sexy instead. She remembered me, and started talking to me. I apologized, and told her I would buy her a shot. So she told the waitress what kind of shot she wanted. The waitress came back with a shot, that was 18. 75. It was a triple or quadruple shot of Hennessey. I reluctantly paid for it, and talked to the manager. He told me thats what it cost. Erica was just being a *****, because I didn't get a dance from her last time. The manager then gave me a free pass. There was a guy there, who Erica told me was her bf. He kept watching her. She told me she wanted top dollar, because she is the best there, which she is sexy, but Deanna and Lori are way better looking and better personalities. Anyways I didn't get any dances, because I wasnt attracted to anybody. Then some girl came in, and went into the back to get dressed. So I kept waiting for her, and the manager told me I had to get another drink, or get out. So I left, and will never come to this place again. And I ask everybody to boycott this place, or at the very least boycott Erica, and let her know that she screwed a friend over.

I have noticed a bit of that the last time I was there. Keep in mind that is all hustle. It's picking up at HS but it is really bad at HN espcially on Monday $10 dance night. I had a hottie getting really close to me but then she started hustling drinks not only for her but for her "best friend". After speaking with her for a while she tells me that she normally is a waitress at a regular bar and the manager "brings her in on Mondays". Yea right he brings her in because she knows how to hustle the drinks.

All the dancers do not ask for drinks. If it is someone I know then I may buy them a drink or two. I finally turned one down at HS last week but she was the third dancer asking. I just flat out told her no. I don't know why this has picked up at HS but they are getting some dancers from HN and that is their MO.

Why on earth would you buy one of them a drink? It's not a date. Pay them for performance, tip if it goes well, but jeez, they're seeking out suckers. Don't fall for it. A waste of money.

I learned real quick that it is a scam.

More recently I have even decided that since extra's are now readily available no girl that refuses them would get my money. Even if I really only want a dance n' grope session.

The bars make most of their money off of the bar. At Henry's some of the waitresses can be a pain constantly asking you to buy a drink. This is the only bar that I was told I had to buy at least 2 drinks an hour.
It is what it is, If I know the dancer I don't have a problem buying her one drink.

Cigar bars and tobacco specialty shops that meet certain criteria are exempt, as are the gaming floors of Detroit's three casinos. Michigan's 20 American-Indian casinos are not covered by state law, so they are exempt as well.

About 25 years ago I made my first trip to New York City. I was walking around carrying my suitcase, looking for a "cheap" hotel. I passed a topless bar and walked in for a little break. It was a Friday afternoon, and it was almost empty. An old skag was dancing, and she got down and sat next to me just as my waitress was getting my order for a bottle of bud. The dancer asks me to buy her a drink, and I said ok. When the waitress came back I gave her a 20, and she said "thats 8.50 more". I said "what"? She said "your beer is 3.50, her drink is $25, that's 28.50". I said something like "wait a minute", and the waitress and dancer both jumped on me "well you ordered it, we opened it, you have to pay for it". As I started to get up I said something like "I'm a dumb hillbilly ok? I'm from out of town, call the cops if you want, I AIN'T BUYING NO $25 DRINK!!!" as I started to raise my voice a little. They both backed down real fast, said I could stay, next time I should ask first before ordering. I've been asking ever since.

When the $18.50 drink, I would have just refused to pay. What are they going to do, kick you out? They'll respect you more if you refuse. I know some places have a quota of drinks the girls have to hustle, or they'll have to pay for them anyway. Other places the girl gets paid for the drinks she hustles. I just tell the girls I don't like buying drinks there, because they're so over-priced.

I won't boycott H8S, but the next time a girl asks me to buy her a drink, I'll pass on your story.

Could be Destiny who used to work at H8S. Someone told me she was working at Bogart's.
Destiny offered a full menu when she was at H8S but after a while would not offer bbbj.

Went to Parthenon last Sat 75 cent domestic beer until 7pm, 5 dollar cover to get in. Mix of dancers blk and white mostly 6-7. 25 dollar dances in private booths with curtains very private. I did not get the vibe that extras were available but they could be. Stopped by Bouzouki last Thurs during the day, they are remodeling. The place was dead but they did have 5 dancers working
beer was 4 dollars. The new rules for Detroit clubs have not gone into effect yet one dancer told me. Pretty asian dancer the rest were ok, the private dance area still in the same spot no booths just couches.

Went to HS last night. Stayed too long and drank too much. It was crowded enough that there was a line for the VIP. Got approached by every single girl there, including the irritating Costa Rican, Desiree (who came up and just started rubbing her stomach into my back and mouthing something about pilates), that Asian lady with the fake boobs who looks about 60, and some others I hadn't seen before.

Most came up with outrageous prices, like 150 for FS (in the back room of HS? Shit, I could get an hour in a clean, quiet motel room for that), 100 for BJ, etc. I called each and every one of them out on it - "I could get that for less than half that here," I'd tell them. 'Your coworkers are undercutting your rates, big-time." They'd drop the price but not enough.

Wound up letting the booze and the dick talk me into going back with this tall, thick black girl. Forgot her name. Covered BJ, but that wasn't cutting it so took off the rubber and had a HJ. Put my hand by my side for support and wound up in a small pool of mystery juice. That was an absolute buzzkill.

On a side note, I don't usually go on Fridays and have never seen those waitresses. Anyone know anything about the short one with the blond streaks in her dark hair? Maybe my judgment was impaired but man she looked good to me last night.

Haven't been there since it was the Atlantis, but back in the day the girls would take their breaks at the bar across the street (since the Atlantis pretty much never had a liquor license.)

I went to the club about 12:30 today and it was closed. Have they changed their hours or is something else going on. Anyone know?
