Seriously, as far as security concerns there, being a Metro commuter, I frequently go in there dressed in business attire, wallet, jewelery, even briefcase in tow, I've never been ripped off or had any reason to be concerned about it.
I normally don't see the bouncer as I am usually there earlier in the evening, but I don't see the blackmail threat any worse than the security camera filming you walking in the door. Think about it, a pissed off customer could all too easily get them shut down. I'm sure LE would be happy to offer a deal to anyone willing to retell their exploits in the big white room and they know this. So I believe any security measures there (however crude) are there for the benefit of both the patrons and providers. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Well, it still holds true that sometimes the only way you learn is by experience and it requires both good and bad experiences to learn. Was getting bored with the usual places for pussy and like any good monger am always on the hunt for new sources. As such, occaisonally I peruse the CityPaper. In the past it has produced some really great finds for me. Today, I am sorry to report it produced a total rip off for me and proves that even an experienced monger can be suckered.
I called one ad that sounded pretty good and spoke to the woman who did a pretty good job of convincing me that they were a "legit" place, serving up heaping platefuls of my favorite dish. I was very specific about what I expected within the confines of phone mongerspeak, to which she responded appropriately.
To make a long story short, naturally AFTER relieving me of the fee I discovered that it was only going to be a body rubbing session by two very lovely naked young ladies and an enthusiastic handjob combined with dirty talking. What is this bullshit? I pretty quickly tried to push it in the direction I was interested in and told them this wasn't cutting it and that I had made it clear, blah, blah, blah knowing all the while that I was fucked. I said fuck this and got up, dressed and went hunting the money taker. Naturally, this caused a shitstorm pretty quick as I knew it would and it took less than 60 seconds for a pretty big mother fucker to appear who made it pretty clear that I could leave under my own power or he would pleased to assist me, a choice which I figured would no doubt include some unpleasant bouncing down the stairs so I elected to walk under my own power. I was pissed!

Hey Trash ...it happens to all of us at some time or another. I received advice, (from a working girl no less), that may hlep here. Besides never again using a service after you have been burned this lady reccomended two things.
1. Call the servicve and let them know what happened. There is a (slight) possibility that they do not know what is going on. I have done this before and have actually gotten some satisfaction, (discounts, fairly prompt *real* service), and at the least you can let them know that you were dissatisfied and are going to spread the word. While it is not a total hasle to them, if busness drops off they will at least have to change their name, phone and ads in the paper.
2. Do your best to do incall at *standard*hotels. This offers a bit more security for you, as these rooms are provided with a security latch. Also, since the lady usually works out of the room all day, YOU know where SHE is but not vice versa. this can leave her open, (in her own mind at least), to recrimination from god knows who. Even if you do not want to go that route, you can always call in a complaint to LE. This is of course a "last resort" move, but in the case of a hotel, taping and discovery for you are minimal.
Either way a rip of is a rip off. thanks for getting the word out and taking one for the team. Buy yourself a beer on me, and treat yourself to a sure thing. And as always take it...

I'll add a comment to Easy's item about hotel/motel considerations:
If you have any say in the girl's choice of motels, try to get one that has external rooms rather than internal, i.e. the room access door is on an outside wall accessible from the parking lot rather than an inside hallway accessible only from the lobby. There are pros and cons to this, but the kicker for me is that being forced to enter the building thru a central lobby entrance, where you are eyeballed by desk personnel and probably taped by security cameras, makes it much easier for management (not to mention LE) to notice a parade of gents to a particular floor/room.
Moreover, while a stakeout or security cameras can be well hidden, I find it much easier to scope out the environment and get a comfort level on the situation with the external setup. Once a couple of years ago I went to an appointment with a girl I'd seen a few times before, only to notice an occupied unmarked cruiser (the antenna farm was a giveaway) parked in a distant corner of the parking lot where the girl's room could be observed... I pulled to another area of the lot out of the pig's view, called the girl and told her I would be late and why, then waited about 45 minutes to give the bacon a chance to leave in case he was just taking a donut break or a nap. He never did. After I informed the girl of this, she left the motel and the cop tailed her out of town, so they were definitely watching her. The point here is that, if you're alert, such stakeouts are easy to spot and avoid in an external-room environment; in most internal-room stakeouts, the snorter gets to sit in the motel office and watch the cameras in comfort while snuffling Krispy Kremes, and you have absolutely no clue he's there.

Sorry about the stupid question concerning the early hours of amps, I was truly desparate at the time thinking that I could only get out early. Man you guys have a fun city, expensive but fun. I visited both Supra and Downtown as I was staying about midway between both. First off, the girls at Downtown were hot!! At Supra I was not able to see all that much but was happy with what I got. Hit the streets Tuesday at 3am to sample the SW action. I know Tuesdays and Thursday are typically LE sweep days, and this appeared to me no exception. LE was out everywhere. Although, I didn't really see anything worth really partaking in on K, and vicinity.

I hope the senior members of this board don't mind me stepping in on this one but I could not resist. I am not of this board but I can offer you some sound monger advice that will keep you out of trouble (LE and thug type). Understand this board is monitored by ALL. If the parking spots are divulged (some are well known and others are unknown) anyone can lurk in those locations to do whatever they want when our pants are caught down. Never, ever publicly divulge where you take your providers when you park. Paranoia is a part of the game so play smart and safe. My .02
I have developed some rules that may benefit you. Check them out:
NC HUNTER'S RULES OF THE HUNT
1. Have a spare set of car keys (just in case some wild SW tries to take your keys to immobolize or blackmail you for whatever reason).
2. Make sure you have Drivers License and vehicle registration, insurance papers in car.
3. Lights (including tag lights) and all safety gear (tires, etc.) operational and in good condition. (No need to give LE a reason to stop you)
4. Never go where SW suggests. Pick your own spot prior to picking up your SW. (places to park, hotels, motels, etc.)
5. Never talk money to SW while she is outside your car. Let her get in, ride around and let her feel you up and if you really want to be sure, have her give you a sample (a little head does the trick for me) before cash is offered.
6. LoveLOS suggests not to ride a male in your car. I go a step further and say no more than one SW at a time in your car- even two in the front seat could mean trouble.
7. Paying in advance (per LoveLOS, and I concur) should be avoided. However, when in Atlanta, the SW's all asked for their money the moment they sat in the car. They would not move unless it was in their hand. (Is the the norm for all of Atlanta you Atlanta mongers?). Go with the local custom on this one.
8. Of course no drugs, drug paraphanelia or weapons (on them) allowed in the car.
9. Prior to picking up the SW, ensure all your valuables are locked away- including your wallet. Some of these girls are talented pickpockets.
10. After picking up girl, do whatever manuevers (legal of course) you need to do to ensure you are not being followed.
11. Read the posts for the area and know what to spend and have that amount and that amount only available. Understand the dangers and the particulars of that area. Do a bit of research here on WSG.
12. If LE stops you tell the girl to never admit to illegal behavior regardless of what the cops promise. And you do the same. Get her real name and give yours. Get your story straight before the cops separate you.
13. SW's are liars and are not your girlfriends no matter how nice they may appear.
14. Realize you are a target for crackheads, robbers, murders, etc. and protect yourself accordingly.
15. If a SW won't get out of your car and is causing trouble, you will have to use your judgement. You have three options:
a. physically kick her ass out (then you have to watch your back even more whenever you are cruisin for you now have an enemy)
b. give her $5 to $20 to get rid of her (for "wasting her time")
c. drive up to the nearest LE and tell them you want this woman out of your car (you risk having her attempt to get you both arrested and you also have an enemy)
16. Always, always, keep your head on a swivel and be very, very aware of your surroundings at all times. use your peripheral vision and keep the SW's movements in sight at all times.
These are all things I learned through over 20 years of mongering. I know it seems like a lot but it all is second nature to us veteran mongers. Each monger has his own rules and these are just some of mine. In time, you will develop your own.
Mongering can and is an enjoyable but dangerous hobby but it can be made a bit safer if you adopt some safety rules. I hope mine are a guideline for you newbies. Happy hunting and be safe out there.

Hello folks. I'm relativly new to the hobby, as well as this board. I have monitored this board for about 6 months, but this is my 1st post. SO here is goes:
I havent seen any post relating to daytime SW action in DC. Since I am free to monger mostly during my lunch hour (2-3 hours). I have used the trial and error technique and I believe I have a pretyy good handle on the daytime action in DC.
First of all, the only place I can find any action is in the area of NY ave. I have never seen ANY daytime action in the K st, L st area. Most SW's out this time of day are REALLY REALLY nasty. However, some 7-10's DO come out on occasion. Most Ive found are already staying at one of the hotels on NY Ave from the night before. (Thanks to the monger who paid the bill!) Some need an early fix and will wonder out into the surrounding neighborhoods.
OK, now youve got the history, onto the mongering:
Fri, 15 AUG 03 1230-1500 hrs
Cruise from downtown DC to NY ave EAST (Heading towards Rt 50/ BW Pky). Made a right on Florida Ave. Cruise 2-3 Blocks and made a left on West Virginia Ave. Cruise down West Va. No pospects.
Make left on 16th st before Gas station. See suspected WSW on corner of W VA and 16th, smoking a cig. Lokks OK, in jeans and a t-shirt. Wont make eye contact (weird). Read your first post with passing interest, but I have to tell you that there are a number of inconsistencies present which make you highly suspect.
