Here is what I have done, it is a little convoluted and costs a few more dollars, but makes no direct connection back to me in the event that the site is ever compromised.
1. Get a prepaid OneVanilla card from Wal-Mart for about $95.
2. I have two different dummy PayPal accounts setup.
3. I add the prepaid card to one of the accounts and then do a transfer to the other account. You'll lose a few bucks for fees, but will still have enough for the subscription.
4. Pay using PayPal balance on the other account.
It has worked great for me. I have tried just paying once I add the card to my PayPal account, but haven't had great success doing it that way.

It's a private account, you'll need to request to follow. Don't use a genuine Facebook account to log into Insta, for obvious reasons.

And the name is easily found on the BIG social media site _book. Known across the world and the pics show the same unique tats. Input the eame name / address / number in SA, and it worked.
The card I purchased was in gold-tone packaging, and I believe it could be loaded in any amount from 20 to 200.
