I arrived on the Ave at noon today (Tuesday). Before I even had a chance to sip my Gatorade from the 7-11 I saw a cute thin blond walking north near Tioga. It comes down to variables, circumstances, and preferences. As good as she is, Holly isn’t likely going to be able to satisfy everyone’s lust. There isn’t a girl out there who can be everything to everyone. Holly is special, she really tries to satisfy.

Change my name to "the beast,?" well perhaps "the bear," which is a triple entendre reference. William Faulkner is not everyone's cup of tea but his short story of the same name is considered by many critics the finest written in the twentieth century: dual themes, so simple and yet so complex.

CJ made on several occasions what I think is the most on point comment about the process of mongering: sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you. How appropriate a tie in to my thinking and literary reference here. CJ seems to be a thoughtful and fairly cerebral guy at heart; I would bet he has read "The Bear," and that it is a favorite.

I am not the only one getting action right now or the SWs would be starving. I am just one of the few reporting about it or taking pics of it (the prolific CJ being the major exception). Mongering is like the short story "The Bear," in so many ways: so simple and yet complex. But, like anything worthwhile, at minimum it involves an investment of time and energy to have a payoff. You can't just expect to show up on the Ave and have the best SWs around lining up for you on every street corner.

On another note: I couldn't help observing that my pic count just eclipsed by a considerable margin that of the entire pic count in the "Streetwalker Photos (No Cookyjar photos)" thread. I have been posting on this forum 1/10 of the time the current SW Photo thread has been around. After my date with Holly, I asked for a recommendation for SWs she knows. She is in Abdul's stable and recommended Jaime. Had I not asked, I would have spelled her name "Jamie" as it has been spelled and reported here in the past. This is her real name and not a street name.
