I usually ctrl + F when I am at home and look for "platonic" in their ad. When I see it, I just duck. Anyone looking to vet you out anywhere should be a concern. The women we want to find on these apps are typically unstable or have some sort of problem. Feeding them info is not smart because they, at the very least, won't care about protecting your identity, and at most, will use it to blackmail.
