Korean Bar Reports

Hit that bar across from Green Tea (can't remember its name, maybe One To Go next to Sakura). Actually wasn't bad compared to what it was before (which isn't saying a lot). Think it has possibilities. A couple / three or so KBG's of interest. I sat at the bar for a few and moved on but think I'll return as a few of the occupied KBG's may be worth closer inspection. Now remember, these are the opinions of a guy who is older than dirt so your opinion may be different. Moved on into town and did a fly-by the Saigons. Too many gangsta want to bees.

Don't know if the guy considering a bachelor party has made plans yet, but, in thinking about it, I'd suggest hiring an AMP for an hour or two. Depends upon how many guys and how much cash he has to spend. Figure a Camelot-ish backroom is going to be around $1k an hour for 5 guys and their KBG at minimum (probably more like $1. 5k +). Sure you'll get some girl dancing on the table and maybe taking her top off, but, still it's going to cost you big bucks for a lot of maybe's. I think if I was looking at $1k or $2k for a group (or more) , it may be a lot more fun to just buy out an AMP for a bit of time. Think of all the fun party games like "Musical Hoes" or "Hide the Salami" you could play. 5 willing ladies at $1k per hour or 5 KBG's for a higher price with a bunch of maybe's.

Need to use your sense and "read" the situation; like anything else. A losing situation when you think about it, though. LOL.

Kalihi bars are exceptionally slow, particularly late night. Would be good for dirty old bastids like me, but most of the kbg's leave by 10:00 or are occupied with their LVB's. Doesn't matter, I'm on permanent NEON status.

First time there. 7 cover charge and the door man asking alot of fucking question. Shit I'm not that young or maybe because I was eatting my Mcdonalds Happy Meal when I went there. Saw the flip chick. Not bad looking ask for a beer from the guy and he ask for one dollar. What? One dollar and seven dollar cover charge = 8 dollar beer. Fuck that place so drank half my beer then went to Happness. Was slow so next stop at One2Go, Green Tee, and Lilac (sp). Three places was slow. How sad that nobody never posted about that girl May. Met her last week Friday. 22 years old. Really tall. Oh damn 'I'm a lover boy thats reborn! ' just kidding but loving it.

Splash Mama Jamie moved to Butterfly and took a bunch of her girls also so now Butterfly is pretty busy.

But then Butterfly bartender Coco and 3 or 4 of her friends moved over to Ellie's. Coco now bartends at Ellie's.

Jun mama (cheers Station) took back Splash. On Thursday night it was pretty busy. Some new girls working and there were still some girls from Splash working also. Some girls from Twilight also working there too.

Twilight has a couple of girls that moved from evergreen.

Tomorrow has a few new girls as has business.

The only place that hasn't changed is Casino, still slow, still old ladies working and no young girls there.

Two people KB were arrested and all machines taken by LE. I guess all that News coverage last week came to a head. One of the stations had a story about these type of gaming. That LC head saying they would follow the Kaneshiro's ruling and or AG on these type of machines. I guess the days are numbered, they are every where I posted months ago that this was a problem. Some hated the posts but they attract the criminal element. Not sad to see them go, more money to spend on bar stuff not machines.

As M69 and Kapa posted, was a different scenery at most town KBs. The most drastic change was at Ellie where they got the tall Splash girls and Butts girls like Coco who was working the floor Friday. First tiime I seen them not dead. Damour was kind of slow with alot of guys checking out Ellie. Twilight was kind of busy with usual regulars but still only Ashley and maybe 1 or 2 attractive girls there. Its a LVB bar so I would only go to drink and LVB spectator watch if I was you guys. Oldee got drunk so forgot what happened other bars, LOL

Has been going on for decades. In splash's case, Jun mama owns the bar and leases it out. I saw Jun mama there on Thursday night. I saw paula also. Not sure how they are running the place, probably paula handles day to day activities, don't think she has the financial assets to lease out the bar but you never know. But when jamie was running the place jun would stop by every so often to show face, will probably be the same way with paula.

Jamie is probably co-mama at butts.

Many of the girls move around every so often because the bars slow down and get stale. Also, some girls feel more comfortable with certain mamas and will move if a new mama takes over. That's why casino is so slow, many bg's won't work for that mama so hard to bring in quality girls other than out of state and older girls.

Kalihi same thing, many are shell companies, some mama owns the actual bar and leases it out to other mamas. We see it all the time with that bar on sheridan st (where business is now) , was it ann who owns the bar? She leased it out to mayas and now business. Wonder how long business will be there, probably 2 year lease.

The problem with the bars is that they are run the same way forever, they think this is the way that bars should be run. The mp services at the bar has been around but because of frickin mirikitani and LC it has been relegated to the rooms and back booths.

After moving here, I definitely noticed how screwy the law is, but it's one of those things here. I've lived around the world and in a few states, and I can tell you that I haven't seen a more corrupt system anywhere else. There are places that do very shady things and turn the other cheek, but the acceptance of it here and the rate of occurrence here are just ridiculous.

One more way these places get around is in a game like tic tac toe, apparently its not chance but skill. Thats how a big establishment like Fun Factory is able to have those machines.

Checked out splash and butterfly this past week after change over. Now they have only one cute young KGB at splash, all the rest mid 30's and up. Not a good line up. Butterfly had 2 decent younger ones that used to be at splash now at butterfly. Tall Coco and her friends gone now at ellies. Time to check out tomorrow and Camelot.

Not that I don't like AMPs or KBs, but even the police here are questionable everywhere. Not talking about the sex industry specifically. Also LE will arrest anyone caught playing them. I was in kalihi when there as a LE, LC bust and I was told to leave or get arrested,"thats a gambling device" "leave or get arrested"! So I tanked my drink and went to another bar.
