Secondly at 2. 5% times years of service the gross income earned in the "high 3" would have to be around $185, 000 per year having served for 30 years. This would require filing about 40 or 50 hours of overtime per week for 3 "high 3" years. Your information is highly suspect. I would suggest your friend overinflated or is combo-ing various pensions (military, govt, social security) and inflating his amount.
Some folks in here make such pointless overinflated inflammatory and quite frankly stupid statements without thinking it through. Complaining about the lack of HPD enforcement and / or complaining about gambling machines in bars really prompts me to suggest that the complainant needs to get a life.
Now back on point. Stopped by Red Rose the other night. Two customers in the bar too include me. Some grandma started massaging my back and wanted me to buy her a drink. The "dancer" was as old as me (or at least had high mileage). Rose was the best one in there if you need some comparison. Slammed down my beer and left.

Given that, $140K does seem a little excessive especially if you consider that he will get it between 50 and 65 as well. That is an extra $2. 1 million (Yikes) No one ever said police work was easy, unlike what many mainland tea-party politicians say about teachers, but $2. 1 million? Public pensions more so than wages are what is hurting state and county budgets nationwide.
When the rank of Corporal first showed up a few years back, I overheard a new Corporal tell a friend that it was a rank they made to reward old timers who never made Sergeant!

OT yep, they work all Holidays most on 16hr shifts, work on their days off most 16hr shift and work at least 3 days reg on 16hr shifts, why? Too many vacant slots. Hiring freezes, sick leave, comp time, vacations, injury leave, work comp, and furloughs created so many open shifts and position City and state. All courts dates are OT, DUI, traffic tickets, speeding tickets, arrests, list goes on! Now I feel like having a six back on them! Watch taxes go up, even the Gov wanted to Tax Wine, Chapm, and beer to fill the budget. NO MORE TAXES ON Alcohol!

Down the end is the bar. On the left side of the bar is a door which is the hallway that takes you to SPIII. After the bar is the bathroom. On the rightside, looks like the kitchen area. Where's the stairway going to upstairs?

If that was her, I got lucky because the first time I went in there I knew one of the hostesses and I had not seen in 5 years. And since she knew me all I had to do do was buy Amy a house beer for $20 and she took me to the back room and she was completely accomadating. We fucked for 45 minutes in multiple positions and the whole menu. 120 tip. She was very cool and sweet. Even said she would meet me outside if I wanted.
Okay I can spill the beans. Romantei is open again. They had a soft opening last night. The place is almost fixed up but there is still some work to be done (rooms need to be finished, new karaoke machine, etc.). The place looks pretty nice, mama Lan put a lot of work into fixing up the place. Pool table is gone and there are booths again in the back area. New carpets too, you can smell the glue from the stuff they fixed up. There is now ceramic tile when you walk in, may not be a good idea as girl coming for their drinks are notorious for dropping glasses or spilling drinks.
There were 2 girls working, one was the bartender, not bad looking. The other I think worked at banzai as a bartender but now is a hostess. Danny is also there as is one of the regular waitresses (the short one) from old romantei time.
The place should be fine, already some of the old timers were hanging out at the bar. When everyone starts finding out about the bar being open it should hopefully get busier. Now the hard part is bringing in the girls again. It's possible with the closing of mistique and other bars being slow some of the regular girls might be back.
It will be hard, with the bad economy, tax time and slow bars it might be hard to make a go of it but I think that Lan can pull it off again.
Another thing, since they fixed up the place and got the smoke smell out they probably won't be allowing smoking in the bar anymore. Just FYI.
Anyway I hope that the bar does okay. Not sure about extras but we will find out as time goes on.

When I passed by there last week and saw the doors open, it looked like it was under rennovation. When it was All Stars, only went in there once to play darts with friends. Never bothered with that place afterwards. A sports bar there don't fit in when there's other hostess bars around it.
