Whenever I write something for here or my local paper I generally go to my word processor and write it and spell check it there first. Then I copy and paste to my post here. The upside is that I can finish long posts quickly. The downside is that I don't always catch the oversights. However, I seem to have far fewer than this guy did.

Even if you use a word processor, and do all the corrections before pasting the post here, there are several self-correcting mechanisms in the new software that can make certain errors unavoidable if you don't know about them. For example, the software automatically assumes you meant "I'd" and not "ID" when you use that acronym. It corrects "da" to "the" (as in "da Vinci" to "the Vinci"). You will note that it did that in your quotation of my post before I had a chance to change it.

I have never attacked anyone for the picky shit that this guy did, and CERTAINLY NOT to make the leap from noting an oversight to a brazen accusation of having no integrity. However, if someone wants to come at me with this or any other crap, then I will give it right back in spades. He had enough grammatical errors in his post to make a third grader be ashamed.

I have mongered in many cites across this country. I am sure there are a few cities where the local mongers would contend they have the best quality and variety of SW talent; however, IMHO, there are a few, if any, that come close to equaling what we have in the Philly area.

It's not really that there are that many gripers. It's just that the gripers are more vociferous in posting their nonsense than the far different perspective from the great multitude of more quiet supporters. I get dozens of PMs of congratulations and well wishes every day from all over the country. I have never gotten an angry PM even once since I have joined this website (of course now I will get one just so a griper can prove me wrong, LOL). The gripers prefer to be visible and post their poison for all to see. Griping in private seems to give them little satisfaction, because I can merely ignore it. The only negativity in a PM has come when I wouldn't give someone what he wanted, typically contact information. The griping has pretty much ceased since the Admin made a specific ruling about that nonsense. There were a few serial antagonists who seemed to have have a chip on their shoulder where I am concerned, and the Admin just got fed up with it. Here is the link to it:

I am glad, because I don't go rattling anyone else's cage and I don't appreciate it when they come and rattle mine. There apparently are still a few who didn't read the new ruling and continue to criticize. I don't mind some good-natured ribbing, but I am smart enough to distinguish between that and ill-intentioned criticism, which is now banned where I am concerned. I intend NOT to violate that in reverse by criticizing others, unless they attack me or a friend on the Board for what I believe are very misplaced and ugly agendas. That will be particularly the case where pic criticism is concerned. I have never criticized a pic anyone has ever posted in this Forum and I don't like it when others criticize pics, even when they aren't mine. These complaints usually come from members who have posted few if any pics themselves. My position on this is that; if you don't like the pics another has posted then post some of your own and demonstrate how it's done.

I have made this same argument, but pic complaints have little or nothing to do with logic and everything to do with envy. That is the ugly but simple truth.

We have a pic gallery for many reasons; I'd for the girls dated, and just to admire females sexily posed, naked, spread and showing us their cootchies, sucking, fucking, whatever floats your boat. However, some pic viewers think that their criteria for what should be shown should rule what others post. They should start their own pic gallery somewhere and administer it with their own rules.

"Free speech" is what complainers squeal about. They claim the right to their own opinions. But, there is a fine line between having your own opinion, and needlessly trampling on someone else. A classic, if extreme, example of that are all these nasty protests at the funerals and gravesites of those known or suspected of being gay. All of them are braying like donkeys about their "freedom of speech," while holding up lewd and insensitive signs and slogans of gay protest for the bereaved family and friends to see. I hope the Supreme Court rules to keep these silly assholes outside of a 1/2 mile zone of privacy from any funeral, funeral procession or internment ceremony. I guess you could say we have had our own such ruling here in a different context, as noted above.

I have not been insensitive to reasonable and well-intentioned suggestions. For example, I used to block my pics in groups of 40-60 and often more with and after a report. Some complained that this was just visual overload and I agreed. I started to group them 10 at a time (now with collages and a favorite) and spread over time so they could better be visually absorbed and appreciated. I had another valuable suggestion that I was bunching the photos in time sequence such that there were a lot of a similar type together. So, within each set of 10 posted I started to vary the type and poses, and even the time sequencing for visual variety. This change quite dramatically increased the number of views per pic in the gallery, so I suppose the change has been successful and well received.

I spit up my coffee on that one. Bravo! It takes a few mouse clicks to very rapidly navigate the pic gallery, and they don't have to open my thread if they don't want to see a lot of pics, because, guess what, there will be a lot of pics!

This was never about how difficult I made anyone's life in the Forum by posting so many pics. It was always about how I should either conform to someone else's idea of what I should be or do, OR, MUCH more likely, pure unadulterated ENVY!

Guilty as charged. I don't go looking for trouble, but, if it comes looking for me, I am surrounded by a mine field with machine gun towers and missile launchers. I don't suffer fools gladly, and I have no compunction about ripping someone a new one if I feel like it. I can be a bit of a narcissist, but that is no crime. I don't bully others and kick sand in their faces on the beach looking for a fight (well, I admit that I did so once, but many didn't see that I was just demonstrating how easy it is to be a horse's ass in here and attack). I just do my own thing and go my own way. Am I opinionated? You bet! Some may think insufferably so. But, my opinions are not in the faces of others unless they attack first. My thoughts are just that, what I think. You are free to express your thoughts as you choose too. Just don't do it while spitting in my face.

That is extremely perceptive of you. 99% of the time they feel slighted because I wouldn't give them contact info for one reason or another. I have previously explained my position in this regard. Some members seem to take this very personally like they are entitled to get this information. So they take the pissing contest public in some way. One guy went off the deep end about this and started making very serious public and private threats, which, of course, is a big no-no in the rules of this Forum. For this he was banned.

These 'encounters' always seem to have a similar pattern: some member PMs me and tells me how much he admires my work, etc, and wants some contact information. I explain my position and even send him a link to my reports on this. He tries to convince me that he isn't one of the bad guys and would never do what that jerk did to me and I shouldn't let one guy spoil it for everyone else. I still refuse. Then come all the insults: I think too much of myself; I am a jerk, whatever. This, of course, is WONDERFULLY INTELLIGENT psychology to get me to change my mind and he takes it public to show in one way or another what an ass he thinks I am, and tries his best to 'pee in my Cheerios. ' Childish? : yes. But I suppose it is just human nature and stuff we all learned in Kindergarten.

This is very prescient on your part and classic psychology. We hate most in others what we most hate in ourselves. Yes, I can come across as egotistical and a narcissist. Therefore, I draw criticism from the same. There is no mystery there. It isn't about changing me or explaining anything readers couldn't figure out or sharing information. It is about self-loathing. I am simply what their souls see in the mirror. They have a choice of torturing themselves or flogging me in writing. In either case they are exorcising their own demons.
