They seem now to want you to use a consistent name, so if you sign up under one name it's best to keep the same name rather than using an alias, since they're now more likely to flag the alias and delay the verification process. If you sign up with a Google account and click on join but don't join immediately, eventually they will offer discounts on the monthly sign up fee. First, 15 percent, then 20, then 25, then 33. I usually don't join unless the discount is 25 percent to 33 percent. They now offer discounts with other emails account types other than Google, but using a Google email address seems to speed up the process of getting discounts offered.
