#1 is not ready for prime time
Well today was a day when thoughts of #1 spa rang in my head. This new place across from the casino. Very different for me. But interesting approach more spa like. Requested a massage paid. Entered into a locker room, no table shower here. Had to pay 35 for the spa, sauna, hot tub, shower all communal style. Any how I was looking for a different exp. Definitely got it. LOL! After finishing the spa portion went to find the massage area, but there was another common area, where you have to wear the clothing provided. I attempted to break the rules but was told you must. This is a common area between men and women. Kinda cool. Again very different. This place was DEAD. No one I saw a middle aged Asian and lady and thought she worked there. But she was a customer. I found a man who was serving drinks in the common bar area and asked how do I get the massage I paid for? He went off and got Maamsan. She escorted me back to the quiet massage area. I got comfortable on the table, hoping she was NOT going to be giving me a massage. Then she returned with the Customer lady from earlier. This lady explained that there was no one to do massage because the girls all called out. And that she had arranged for me to get a full refund. So I got dressed and checked out with all my money. And that was my first experience with #1 spa.
Repeat. Ummm I don't think so. But I will say this place was very nice inside. Just not running well yet.
Ah yes the soft touch approach
I stopped in for my first Tampa AMP session in a very long time. I requested Mimi based on her reviews. She gave a nice table shower. I asked for a medium rub because I've had some Asian girls actually hurt me before. But her rub was a little too soft for medium. Next time I'll get a hard rub. Anyhow, after the rub and flip, we negotiated the previously mentioned rate on here. She was great even though I was nervous. I will definitely repeat. She's a cutey.
I learned last year this is the professional approach no kiddies allowed. One other AMP explained it was actually a signal to convey what you want. She told me when you go in they usually ask what type of rub you wanted. Well at first I wanted the hard rub where it gets to the point her foot is inisde your spleen that I stopped that.
Ok so based on what I wanted she said to ask for hard massage then soft. The soft means cut the shit lets play type signal and based on what you and others describe supports that fact it is a universal one with all AMPs.
Orange is a plum experience
Visited Orange and lucked into Mimi. My first AMP visit in ages.
The facility is pretty damn good. Cleaner and better organized than most AMPs. Parking is well out of street view, and they make a solid effort to avoid customers seeing each other.
Table shower was very pleasant, Mimi's rack is terrific, massage was average, finish was well above average. CBJ and pricing structure as discussed. Well worth the visit. I will be back.
This is the Shangri-La spa
