The "new plan" is to attack demand for sex workers. That means mongers are now the targets for arrest, not the workers. In the old days 90% of law enforcement's arrests were sex workers, they have flipped it. Now, workers are victims and mongers are criminals.

So who knows where they'll be today or tomorrow (or whether they'll have moved on to focus more on other crimes)? I'm sure that's all part of their plan to keep johns on their toes and guessing OR probably, from their perspective, refraining altogether from the activity rather than take any chances. Bottom line, if you do decide to take chances, regardless of location, always be careful and NEVER negotiate through a car window.

Big Bend Rd, I don't see a notel there, but by the number of busts, listcrawer was probable bait I'm guessing an ad with rates too good to be true, also maybe one of those ads were you send your photo. Just so LEO knows who to bust!

The street busts, Nebraska and Skipper, Nebraska and 138 are the most interesting to me. That's where I hunt, as everybody who reads here knows. This is where talking through a window gets you in trouble. I think a guy posted about a "Too good to be true" worker on the streetwalker thread, so there you go, when it looks too good, pull around and watch for a bit. If she has secure footware and never walks beyond one small section, you have enough clues! Other decoy tactics, 'pull your car over here' or ask 'how much you going to spend?' 'What are you looking for sweetheart?' All they need is an amount of money, and a sex act to be said out loud. You will be recorded, and on video too.

The Town and Country operation is the weird one to me. Last fall they ran a SW decoy op on Hillsbo in T and C as well. I drive through T and C on Hillbo almost daily and have never seen any SW's. I do see a lot of homeless from Sheldon to 589 migrating back and forth, some of those chics look like they would play for a buck or even a cheeseburger and a ciggie. LOL.

I DID see someone whacked out near the Alafia on 301 (near the new aldi they building). Was half passed out and then woke up and started walking. She was tweaking hard. But that is it. I'm frequently in that area (Big Bend /301) and never have I seen anyone walking or looking like it. Usually on 41 between symmes and Gibsonton, and even that has been bare for months.

Apart from it being way down in Riverview, they charge $140/ night. There's nothing wrong with staying in such a nice hotel but I've only very rarely seen LC girls staying in places charging much more than $100. There's an Extended Stay just a little further north (and closer to population centers) at 301 & 75 charging nearly 40% less or, if they're really that intent on capturing the southern Hillsborough crowd, a Rodeway in Sun City charging only $80. Just another in what I'm sure were many red flags in whatever ad these guys were responding to.

I'd also guess that if those guys had checked to see how long that ad had been running (whether there had been previous ads from the same poster), they'd have seen that was the one and only ad or perhaps it had only been running for a day or two. As much as some of us want to be "first", claim bragging rights for "discovering" a new find, or are simply impatient, I'd never respond to such an ad unless it had been vouched for by a reliable reviewer. TOFTT is one thing. GAFTT (Getting Arrested For The Team) is something else. If I were to take a chance with such advertisers, I'd at least be particular watchful for other red flags (e. G. If the pics seemed TGTBT, was the face revealed in the pics, etc.) and cautious in all my dealings. For example, I'd be very careful what I said in my texts, looking for strange vehicles or people in the area of the meet, whether the decoy answering the door matched the pics though even at that point it might be too late and waiting for them to do something "uncoplike" before I said anything about cash or did anything lewd. Of course, all those things are good ideas when meeting any provider for the 1st time but many of those things can be eased up on when the provider has been posting for a while and / or has a track record.

Why would any providers be more in the business area of Riverview and pay 140 per night as stated?

2. As for Riverview, there is generally no hotel action to be had here unless in private residence (even those are so few, go search it).

3. I do usually circle around, at least once in ALL hotel visits to get an idea of the landscape even with providers that I have seen before, why? The provider might be okay, but hotel are rarely okay with hookers.

4. I do look for LC with comment if I am willing to try someone new, why? Some comments are shams, but leans more toward legit. I also how the pics looks.

Thanks for the props Tat. I do always try to add value to this forum, though I don't always succeed. Your added comments were also excellent, but 3 & 4 particularly brought new thoughts to mind.

Re: doing the full circle around on ALL hotel visitors INCLUDING with providers you've seen before not just unknowns. That's an EXCELLENT point. I might add that is not really such a hard thing to do for several reasons. No matter what time you agree to meet with a provider 9 times out of 10 she'll ask for extra time getting ready, so why not check it out while giving her those (hopefully) only couple of extra minutes. Its also not that unusual for a provider not to immediately respond with her exact room # when you do your final text in when you're 5 minutes away, so you may not know exactly which end of the hotel to park when you arrive. Also, though I can't speak for nights since I generally only do dates during the daylight hours, the parking lots of the hotels where these girls stay are usually very empty (and probably at night too for many of the hotels since a lot of the other "guests" are actually transient residents like our girls who don't own cars). All that makes it very easy to spot people or vehicles who seem out of place (unfortunately working the other way too if you act too suspiciously).

One last point on hotel parking lots, the mere presence of a marked police car in some hotel lots is not by itself necessarily cause for alarm. I was seeing one girl fairly regularly who was staying at the Rodeway Inn on Busch, smh a real hotbed of illegal activity, and I've seen cop cars in that lot on multiple occasions but always dealing with OTHER residents. For some of these hotels, if it weren't for the semi-permanent crackhead residents, drugdealers and h0okers they wouldn't have any guests at all. And those type of guests draw cops. If I were an out-of-town tourist visiting Tampa with my family I certainly wouldn't stay at those places. So that's what we're dealing with.

Regarding LC comments, I suppose having some comments is better than not having any comments at all, but even when there are comments I wouldn't put much stock in them. Many of them are pretty useless (especially the ones asking for info. REALLY? If someone has info to share they'd post it but not bcuz someone else asked, so stop wasting our time by having us click to see the comment only to see another stupid "anyone?" comment). But back to my point, they don't seem to leave up negative comments, and the positive ones are nearly always questionable.

More to the point, if we're talking about a LEO sting ad, the sting is over and done with and the ad removed by the time anyone would comment on it so you won't ever see any comments on those anyway. Even if its not a sting ad, if its a 1st time ad that's only been up for a day or 2, its unlikely that it will have gotten any comments yet either. The girl MIGHT be a new star (ONLY time will tell) OR she might be an as of yet unreported scammer or ripoff artist (or previously reported one using a new account or alias). My point, is you don't need comments (which aren't there anyway). You just need to see its a spanking brand new ad with ZERO track record (good or bad) and the safest thing to do is to stay away until more is known. If there are any other red flags at all, let someone else TOFTT or, worse, GAFTT.

Last night was my first night monger in over 18 months (personal issues). Anyway, you can read about it in escort section. I also prefer to hobby in the day as it is easier to see who is where. I have stuck to my rotation and seem to lost one (Kaylee who lives in Valrico / boomingdale). She has a full time job and just stop returning my texts. Rotation is under 5 and hobby only monthly (no joke) with this month being the exception (2) as I stated earlier in this post.

Are weekends safer? Perhaps Pinellas County. They never seem to do these mass round ups.
