You should be wary of any BP ads with the following phone numbers: 256-653-7945 and 256-585-9558. They go to the woman who owned Illusions Spa and the "new" Bama Friends, who was recently busted for promotion of prostitution. The 653 number is a new number and she has been posting ads for allegedly ""independent" young ladies. I was relatively sure about it being "Bama Friends" because of the "New Friends" title. But, I would like to add to your post by saying that something is definitely up. If you look at the link you posted, the Ad is using Lacey's pictures with the 653 phone number. From the other users on here, the 520 number is her legitimate number.

Went to change carriers and was told it would take 2 days to transfer the number to new carrier. Rather than suffer the gap, she opted for the new number. No LE involved. Girl is just trying to make a living.

For July 15, there seem to be 7 women arrested for SOLICITING PROSTITUTION.
But there are no reports in the newspaper nor on any of the TV web sites.
Has anyone seen anything on this issue?

I believe some were nabbed only for disorderly conduct or possession. There may be other types of charges that are part of the sting.
The Times finally listed the arrest with pictures on Monday. Interesting that it was not a big dragnet of the streets but listed as an undercover operation.
I happened to cruise the south loop on sat at midnight and it was dead as a morgue.
