King Henrys opens at noon but girls don't arrive till 1 or 2 pm.

Wow, gorgeous women here. High prices though. $5 to park and 20 to get in.
There is variety in this place though. Asians, white, black, and Hispanics. The one complaint I have is that most of them have way too many tattoos.
Got 2 dances, both were 2 for 1s. .4 each. Can't remember names, but one was a darker skinned asian about 5'4" with medium length brown hair. Had only 1 or 2 tattoos and spoke decent English with a hint of an accent. Other was a tall blonde white girl with a nose piercing (hoop). Decent dances given by both. Thought about VIP, but its 300 and too much for me that time. Maybe in a few weeks after I save up a bit
For me too, gone are the days I had in the mid 90's in Vegas, had money to burn and had no problem with dropping $400. To $600. A night (a long night) that the clubs. Have not done that in 15 years as nowadays I save a little and splurge in other countrys.

So I TOFTT and went to Rio down in the Hood. I had my "free admission 3 dances for 1" coupon from the Daily Breeze but there was still an automatic drink charge ($5) by the bouncer, who delivered (there were no waitresses) the OJ that I ordered but whatever it was, it tasted nothing like OJ. Wednesday afternoon and it is as dead as Dali in there. I was the only customer with four dancers, three of whom had their faces stuck on their cell phones the whole time (20 minutes) I was there. The first and only dancer that approached me was Dominique, who had this deep smokey voice. This was when the intrigue started.
Everybody (should at least) knows the rule that you never do business with the first girl that approaches you, because they are likely to be a shark. This definitely is not my first time at the rodeo, but nonetheless I was a little fascinated by Dominique. This Persian beauty easily was the best looking girl there and easily had the best body, but in better circumstances, her (?) voice would be a deal breaker. In my mind, I was wondering if she was born with a Y chromosome. That was what I was thinking the entire time we did small talk. To her credit, she did not mention going for a dance for nearly 10 minutes. When that subject finally approached, I had to think it over. The other girls held no interest for me, but Dominique may be a dude! I said f-it and agreed to a 3-for-1 dance (I have been here before and I know that their songs are less that 2 minutes each). However, she told me they do not do that anymore and that our dance would last two full songs. That sealed the deal because two full songs would make it a 7 to 8 minute dance. For $40, that is better than average. So, off we went to the dance couch area.
She led me to a secluded area but I can see that there was a camera trained on us perfectly. One red flag. She totally stripped off all her clothes right away (before our songs started) without any kind of seduction or titillation. Two red flags. Again to her credit, she looked awesome naked and when she told me she was 38, I was thoroughly impressed. But when I asked her if she smokes (even the herb), she flatly denied anything like that. So when our first song starts, things go well as I did get some mileage from her. I felt around and IMHO, she was born with a XX chromosome. In other words, TGIF (Thank God its Female). As a matter of fact, I really enjoyed doing that body check. Then, the third red flag raised its ugly head. They cut off the first song (not even half way through it) and the second song started suddenly. I was enjoying myself too much to put up a fuss. But, I knew that my first report in this forum would be to inform my brotherhood about this place. So, here is the report. The second song did play out all the way to the end but when it started, it did not start at the beginning. I don't know what the hell they are trying to pull here, but I can see why business is so bad. Overall, this place gets a thumbs down but for $45, it was an interesting 20 minutes.

The problem with Rio is, Rio is a ghetto strip club that doesn't realize its a ghetto strip club (or at least they don't act like they know it).
Personally, I feel like $20 a song is a fair rate for a good high mileage lapdance. It sounds like you paid $40 for about 2. 25 nude songs. But the thing is, if it were me, they would have pissed me off twice during the session by cutting the first song and starting in the middle of the second song (sounds like you got one complete third song). I still would have FELT like I got ripped off.
As an alternative, I could have gone over to King Henry VIII and gotten three bikini lapdances for $45, full songs. Now of course nude is better than bikini, BUT the girls at KH8 do realize they work in a ghetto strip club they the majority of them act accordingly in the booths and the booths in the far ends don't have cameras staring you in the face.
As with everything in life its a trade off.

If you don't like black girls there is no point of coming to King Henry, they usually try to have one token white girl, or light skinned black girl who could pass as white, but not always.

Its a straight $15 at KH8. Full songs, no bullshit. The Rio "specials" arent that special when they only play half the song.
*Dance Performance: It depends on what you want ("sometimes you feel like a nut (literally) , sometimes you don't").
You can have a dance in a public area at Rio (or at least you could when I was last there which is kinda kinky sometimes) , but there will be cameras there and also in the "private" area. At KH8, you get dances in a cramped booth. But, the booths on the ends have no cameras and the booth on the near end is very dark ("what happens in Vegas, STAYS in Vegas!").
*Music: It depends on what you want.
Personally, I'm a Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Godsmack kind of guy so I like Rio better as far as music goes. If you can't stand rap, particularly "gangsta rap", then there is no point of you going to KH8 because that's all they play. Believe me, I have tried to get some Motley Crue in Kh8, it ain't happened yet. However, let me say this, even though KH8 is a ghetto club which plays gangsta rap, it's not really "like that". You are not going to get shot in KH8 and there's not going to be a bunch of thugs hanging out in the club. At least a 25% of the guys in KH8 will be older white guys. (Now, if you DO want a chance of being shot and thugs hanging out in the club, then I would suggest "Charlies" on Florence near 8th Avenue.)
*Drinks: KH8.
KH8 has a full alcohol bar. Rio has soft drinks. 'Nuff said.
Now, as an alternative to KH8, you can go to Starz right down the street. The difference is, at Starz you can always get topless stage dancing, but also get nude stage dancing upstairs after 7:00, you get to fully inspect the merchandise before you buy it. Also, generally the girls there are about a 7.9 (just a tiny tiny touch below Rio).
