Reason to stay away from internet advertisers
I take a quick check on BP escort ads. New one pops up. I'm using my iPhone, so no tinyeye ability. Chick looks hot. Nice pics."Alana" is her name. I call, we talk, sounds cool, we agree to meet in 20 minutes. Tells me to go to Ala Moana hotel and stand-by.
I go, we meet outside, we chat, check each other out. Every red flag is waving. Every sense tells me to walk away. I know something is wrong. I say ok and we walk into lobby. In 2 minutes I'm being spoken to by two undercover police. Your under arrest. The rest is history.
Another example of why I would never respond to either Backpage or Craigslist ads. I really don't see how you could get busted in an AMP as the cops would have to walk in the door just as money changed hands or have the place wired. In fact that is why I always put the $10 change back in my pocket after receiving it from MS. Unless the provider is undercover which is nearly impossible, it is no money seen, no bust. This is why when they go in undercover the LE use marked bills to pay house fee then take them from the house as evidence when they make the bust.
I will concede that police could make a phoney arrest if they just busted in but it could never stick in court without money as evidence. In fact this is another good reason to walk out if an AMP girls asks for money up front. No female undercover LE would actually do the deed first and talk money later. Still best to stay with AMPs you know and better yet providers you know.
Despite my opinions I still extend my sympathies to Darkman808.
