I was paging through the threads and was interested in this conversation below about LE at local AMPs. I have always been worried about this, and the are. Kraft (alleged) bust in Florida last year really brought this into the limelight, and caused some concern. I would guess that Roanoke is small-time business compared to AMPs in Florida though.
I have never been to an AMP but plan to after reviewing this board and getting turned on by the prospects. Once the virus clears and they reopen.

Probably raised some questions when women are in there getting their nails done and a bunch of guys go in and out for massages looking guilty. There was a bust about 2 years ago in Chesapeake where they shut down like 12 places in a day, so you never know.
And in Christiansburg where I'm at they passed an ordinance a few months ago saying all massage therapists had to be licensed. Clearly focusing on the two AMPs, I kept expecting them to be closed soon after that but it never happened. The town is clearly after them though. I visited Oasis a few months ago and the freakin' fire marshal came in for an inspection. Then right before Christmas I go to to Oasis one afternoon and as soon as I get out of my vehicle a town cop whips into the gravel lot right beside there and stares me down. That was scary. I walked up to the door tapped it once, looked at my watch, shook my head and turned around and walked off like I realized I didn't have enough time. One of the girls actually came outside and ran me down trying to get me to come back in, I just kept walking shook my head and said no time. I thought for sure when I left the cop would pull me over and harass me and try to get some info but he stayed put and left me alone. I've been back since but I always cruise the strip a couple times to see if any LEO is around now.
Long and short is it doesn't seem like local LEO is inclined to bust any places except maybe in Christiansburg, but even then I don't think they're interested in mongers, just the owners. Stay safe, Lance.
