If I see LE I am afraid I am going to try to leave with as little attention as possible. I don't want to see them or talk to them. That's just me, though. I have wondered what I would say if pulled over and questioned. Is it legal to just get a massage. What if one were visiting for dom stuff if that was there thing. Is that illegal. The favorite plan of leo is to try to get you to talk by letting you believe that if you level with them you will somehow be treated better, not charged, etc. WRONG.
In fact the info that you might provide at their insistence is the info that would incriminate you; hence ask if you are being held, or being charged with any crime, and then refuse to answer any question without first speaking with your Atty. At least you make their job more difficult if they are going to file any chgs against you.
There are many posts on this board that address this subject far better than I am attempting to here. Certainly not attemptint to make a comprehensive list of "to do's" when in that situation. But best to just keep the pie hole closed if ever in that situation. LEO can always chg you with anything, but convicting you with the chg is another matter, especially if you haven't given them a road map of how to accomplish this, aka too much info about what you were doing there.

When he called he did not know the place or circumstance.

I saw a provider recently at a decent motel and sat outside afterward checking voice mail. A marked cruiser pulled into the lot and slowly drove around the entire parking lot. Of course I got little nervous. What if he stopped to ask what I was doing sitting there? Try telling him you're not saying anything without talking to a lawyer first and you risk being hassled even worse. I have a ready made response that I pulled in to make phone calls because, as we all know, LEO doesn't want us talking on our cell phones while we drive so a parking lot is a nice out of the way place to make those calls.
One can argue that LEO must have proof of money for sex in order to charge you. But they only have to have suspicion in order to hassle you and none of us want to be hassled. We certainly don't want them asking for I.D. and worrying that we are now on some list of people suspected of engaging in prostitution.
As for legal to get a massage? The angle LEO will likely take is that in Ohio the provider has to be licensed to offer massages. Better to use the term back rub but even then you're walking a slippery slope. I wouldn't mention the dom stuff. But meeting a friend or even a stranger at a motel for free sex is not illegal. I even told a provider once when we were driving to a motel that if we were stopped our story is we are just friends. If you and a provider are separated by leo for questioning then you better be telling the same story. And it helps if you know each other's real first names. But you don't need to tell her your real first name until the police car's lights come on behind you.
I read a news story once where a criminal defense expert said about 60% of the people in prison in the USA today would not be there is they had just kept their mouths shut. So, in short, avoid LEO. If hassled, tell them as little as possible as long as it is true. Ask as soon as you can "Am I being charged with something or am I free to go?" And if your Spidey senses tingle? Get the heck out of Dodge.
