I went out to meet a highly reviewed provider today for a first time meeting her. I will not name her. On the way she texted me about money and before I arrived she texted me asking me to bring covers. I got spooked and asked her to meet me at a nearby restaurant parking lot and she refused for her "safety. " I pulled around near her apartment building and texted her to come out to the parking area and again she refused for her "safety. " She kept inviting me in but something didn't seem right. I left and texted her that we could try again some other time. I explained why I was concerned about her texts. We have to be safe too.
I believe now it was a misunderstanding but I have never known a provider to text about money and covers or to refuse to meet outside the apartment. She thinks I was a no-show and wasted her time. Your thoughts?

I have for the past few months been on a self imposed hiatus from the hobby, even longer from the SW scene and since my recent return I realize why.
I am not a wealthy man, I do well enough and I use to not mind spending what I felt a provider was worth, dependent on their type, I. E. : SE, BP, CL, UTR, the guide, etc.
Since my recent return I have met nothing but bad luck and frustration from some UTR's I still had contact with, a couple of the ladies from the guide and I even have tried to utilize the SW scene for budgetary and ease of availability.
More than a few things get under my skin like never before and I think I may go on a permanent leave from it all.
The things that grind my gears, and will no longer tolerate.
I am not a sugar daddy.
I am not a taxi service.

Stay off the phone it's my time.
I don't want to hear about your problems, I don't tell you mine.
Don't ask for more money, upsale or ask for a tip.

Don't mistake kindness for weakness.
I have always tried to be polite, respectful yet firm and fair over the past 25-30 years in this hobby and like a career there comes a time to hang it up. It has become far to difficult, dangerous, expensive and frustrating to continue.
I may or may not chime in from time to time, I appreciate those of you that have offered advice, shared information, numbers and your experiences. I hope many or at least some of you fell the same.

There are some couples that come in to shop for toys and things, but just the girls just giggle like teenagers when their fellas suggest anything else.
I have heard Horse Cave, KY is much better but have not been there.

About a year ago while seated at the bar, a gentleman a few seats down from me was asked to leave by what I assmed was management wearing a collared tucked in shirt. The gentleman was asked to leave for a lude remark to one of the bartenders. I didn't hear the remark but the manager told him he should apolagize to the bartender and leave.
