Although most info I've seen does seem to indicate that taking DoxyPEP on a daily basis is fine, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. Only for the rare occasion that I go raw with an untrusted provider. We're talking like once or twice a year at most. (In this case I planned ahead and knocked a couple out in a few days because I'm a dirty dirty dawg.) It's not 100% effective but neither are condoms. I got a prescription online for like $40 (I'm sure there are cheaper options) and it was ready at Walgreens in a couple hours for less than 2 bucks. I'm not suggesting anyone engage in raw play at all but if you do, or a condom breaks or whatever, this is something that mongers should consider as a viable alternative to just doing nothing at all, sitting around waiting for your piss to burn.
