I'll be the first to admit that I'm in no way an expert on Detroit stripclubs, but I have been around the block so to speak. Quality has been hit and miss, had to turn down many ugly girls to find a decent girl. I was sitting at Players a week or two ago and was talking to a senior poster from this board who pointed out most of the girls who did extra's, the three hottest one's I was eyeing didn't do extra's. I'm not used to that, in the Fkk's there are always a dozen stunners if not more available. Only in North America are there 'stripclubs' where girls only strip, in Europe if a girl wants to make money she goes to a club to fuck. I will say $120 is max I'm willing to pay for 15 minutes of fun, that's half the time and double the money than in the Fkk's.
Now from what I can tell from the Detroit clubs, you've got to be a regular and be seen at the club. Really helps with the negotiations. As to buying girls drinks, I just don't do it. If the girl's after the money in my wallet, she won't act offended when I tell the waitress that we are fine. Last time I bought a girl a drink she pulled down her panties and let me finger her and her friend did the same for my buddy, we even fingered each others girls. But this was in Thailand where girls can be had all night for $40.
Players has been by far the best club, Col and BT's next door are hit and miss. Bogarts and H8 have only had decent talent on one of my visits. Silver Cricket was slow but I haven't made it there on a weekend yet.
Interesting information about Germany and Thailand but the prices in far flung countries have very little bearing in setting (or negotiating) an acceptable price in Detroit (or any locale). The reason is simple: it is not feasible to counter an unreasonable price by saying "That price is out of line, I'm hopping on a plane and heading to Germany (or Thailand or Mexico) where the price is more reasonable. " But Detroit does have a good check on unreasonable prices- you can always say no and wait for a more reasonable offer from: a) the same dancer, often later in the shift as her tip outs become due; b) a different dancer in the same club or c) simply relocate to another of the many fine Detroit clubs with more reasonable pricing and within easy driving distance of each other.
By the way, there are some clubs where the dancers pressure each other to keep prices unreasonably high (Flight Club suffers from this dancer cartel problem-- unrealistically elevated prices across the board as a result of strippers pressuring each other to keep the prices high). The price fixing strategy sometimes works for the naive customer but it has an unfortunate side effect for the club- it discourages return visits and drives customers away to clubs with more reasonable pricing. I made two visits to the Flight Club last week and I was struck at how empty the club was, especially during an afternoon visit. In contrast, the Landing Strip, which features more reasonable pricing, was pretty busy. But that is the nature of negotiating a price for a service-- the seller of the service tries to sell their services at a high price (but with the risk that it will drive some customers away) and the buyer tries to minimize their costs but still end up with the desired services (or a roughly equivalent but different service).
