Apple of my eye
They pretty much were stupid. Unless there was any way to account for the cash, then they should never have moved it somewhere with a paper trail. They should have slowly gotten the cash over to Thailand. I have a friend who relocated there and is having a time of his life. A couple single guy friends are thinking of living there part time after retiring. You get a lot more for your money.
Yea Apple was a cutie. Geez, remember seeing her first time in 2003 at Kiku (former Rose Marie and now Tokyo Spa). Mama brought her in, she was wearing a white bikini that showed off her very cute shapely ass. We hit it off immediately. Saw her many many times from the years 2003 to her eventual retirement. Too bad this IRS stuff is going down with her. But I agree with AmpAddict they pretty much were stupid in how they handled the large sums of cash. There is many ways to avoid triggering alerts with cash. For one: Don't make such large deposits! Make smaller more frequent deposits and don't use banks / credit unions if you don't have to. Lot of AMP girls I know use other methods such as money orders, western union etc. Sure fees may be higher but harder to trace. There is always a way. I know.
I do know that she had a child or children. I wonder if the husband knew she was providing? Did he approve of her being a provider or maybe was he pimping / using her as an income source? Maybe he didn't care as long as the money was coming in. Lot of unanswered questions in this case. It is going to be interesting to see how this one pans out. One thing I do know for sure. The IRS will get there share one way or another and they will not leave her alone until they do. Death and taxes, two absolute truths in life.
Happened to one of the first providers I saw back in the 80's, a redhead aerobics instructor and my first GFE before there was such a term. She deposited cash regularly in her bank account and got hit by the IRS. No jail time, but penalties and payments up the wazoo.
If I'm not mistaken, I think that tax fraud is want eventually put Al Capone (or some other famous gangster) behind bars. I actually warned her about this once and she told me she was paying taxes. I guess not. She'll cop a deal and stay out of prison I would imagine.
The thing that pisses me off, is that she earned every cent of it and got arrested. But if you really think about it, that money has already been taxed by those who paid her! Yet those Wall Street "investors" including Golden Sachs stole billions and no one is in jail. Even that crook Ted Cruiz who is ruuning for President, his wife is a director for Golden Sachs.
You mean like how the money that is paying me for my job has already been taxed too? And then I have to report tax on top of that? LOL.

Double taxation
You mean like how the money that is paying me for my job has already been taxed too? And then I have to report tax on top of that? LOL.
Your net pay which is the result of after paying for both Federal and State taxes is your Earned income. The money left over in your pocket that one uses for services has already been taxed. It's the same fallacy the government uses to double tax tips, which is actually not taxable income, but gratuity appeasement "gifts".
An appreciation "gift" in lieu of earned income, since the waiter is already receiving a taxable income, the same can be considered in the provider service occupation, since the government refuses to consider such activity as defined in the work force category where taxation are legally binding between two consenting adults, so they force they own set of taxation through fines and threats of imprisonment.

Blooming Spa
Anyone remember the provider that sometimes was the mamasan at Blooming Spa? She usually had her hair pulled back when she was the mamasan and had a raspy voice. Pretty face (I thought), with an average to skinny body. I think she went by different names, but one of them was Honey. Also, did Bunny move to somewhere else now that CC203 is closed?
By the way, regarding the comments on taxation of "gifts", a gift is something you give someone without receiving or expecting anything in return. Just because you call a payment a gift does not make it a gift. So the question is, why do you tip a waiter or a provider? Is it out of the goodness of your heart or is it because they provided a service to you? Now if you were in a relationship with one of these providers, then you probably have some wiggle room.

Help us to know
Guys, could we use this blog to truly tell us mongers; ' Who is who and where they might be at present. Example Michelle, last at CHM-now Happiness. Shine aka Blu at CHM-now Happiness. Jackie formerly-Kison, CHM, Golden-now at Nirvana.
See where I'm going with this. We mongers who travel across Oceans to visit Oahu need a help in keeping up with providers. These ladies can and do move around to different work locals; plus they change names. I always feel a little embarrassed when I call a provider and the Mamasan says;
"She no work here anymore". Thanks for your help fellow mongers.

Kathy from golden spa?
Long time monger. First time post. Apologize for first post being a RFI. Looking for Kathy who worked at Golden Spa, when it was above the gun store on Beretania. That girl had special talents.
