Has anyone noticed that things seem to be slow all over?
The AE and EV scene is very slow with less than 1 page of specials per day, CL is slow (excpet for the spam)
Did a quick stroll today = dead
Not many posts on here either.
In general it seems the s#x biz is dead around Mo-murder-town.

Yes, I do think its the economy SnowMan. That girl Nikki told me a month ago that the job scene was hitting her wallet. She couldn't get a decent job, and her regulars were broke. I've had to scale down my pursuits lately.
The positive thing is that .15 dreams are back! I like to see just how low I can go for the heck of it, and .10 and .13 can be had for returning customers. Of course, I recommend throwing .05 tip when asking for digits. I also see people that would not "normally" be SW are out there. Its always been about getting the next fix, but now its about paying the rent about half the time.

There are many factors the weather it may get down to 5 degrees tonight, the money most or all of the sw's are drug addicts you can't pay the rent sucking dick for 15-20 dollars. Safety rape, robbery, murder all reality's in the big bad D. Sex is still a recession proof business none of the strip clubs have closed in Wayne county but business is slow. Gambling I think some of the money spent on pussy makes it's way into the casinos. I know that I gamble and the money I lose is less money i have to spend on adult entertainment.

Wasted a 1/4 tank of gas on McGraw, US12 and Fort to finally gave up. Tuesday evening around 6 pm to 7:30 was slow. Had to rely on a regular in the area to not totally waste the gas. Nikki is 21, W, about 4-11, 110 pds, little chubby, and good for .3 BJWCIMS at her place. I prefer things curbside though. One of the few out there not scratching her arms if you know what I mean. Good service and talkative. I prefer the hunt, but its just slow because it was so darn cold. Keep it safe.
One thing I have noticed is that if you go on the stroll the last week of the month you can get good deals and barter better on the streets because rent being due. Good luck out there.

I noticed a lot of SW's have somewhat reliable shelter now, so maybe it's nature but between trickin and tweetin they r actually gettin a lil r and r.

Got outta dodge.
There was a nice little ditty in the Farmington Hills paper about busting CL providers in a couple of Farmington Hills hotels. The first one was a sting, the second one the hotel manager just noticed the activity and called the cops.

Prostitution rings like the one that ensnared New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer are thriving online.

While the Web site for the Emperors Club VIP that Spitzer allegedly used has been taken down, other sites are so competitive that many of the services offer online booking directly from a sex worker's Internet calendar.
What the Internet has done to most every other field it also is doing for the world's oldest profession, with online call girl (and boy) rings being actively advertised and promoted with barely disguised offers of sexual services under the code words "full service" or "GFE," meaning "Girl Friend Experience."
Sometimes, other euphemisms are used.
For example: A woman identified as "Heavenly Hailey" is advertised on a site called Cupid's Addiction. She describes herself as "upscale courtesan based in the SE Michigan area."
The American Heritage Dictionary makes it clear what a courtesan is: "A woman prostitute, especially one whose clients are members of high social standing."
"Organized prostitution has taken to the Internet in a major way," says Special Agent Dawn M. Clenney, a spokeswoman for the FBI in Michigan. "It's a very effective and affordable way for them to reach huge numbers of persons. It's a big problem, and we're investigating and making cases."
Apparently so. On an area of the Detroit Craigslist site that specializes in sexual services, someone has posted a warning that makes it obvious law enforcement knows what's going on online. It lists a 313 area code phone number with the notice: "Be careful its a sting operation... My boy just got caught."
That area on the Detroit edition of Craigslist has more than 700 posts offering sexual services.
"The Internet is a place where you can buy and sell just about anything, and prostitution is widespread on it," says Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard. "It's not high on our list of priorities because there is so much of it, and we are concentrating on the ongoing and serious problem of child predators, but when we do find it or get a complaint, we do take action."
That happened last summer, when Bouchard's department got a complaint about a call girl who advertised online as Candy Dancer, charging $250 an hour. Cops went to her Web site, set up a sting and made the bust. They were stunned to learn that Candy Dancer was allegedly Christy Newlin, 45, of Waterford, the wife of Randy Newlin, a veteran Oakland County Sheriff's deputy. She was linked to customers in Troy, Farmington Hills and Grand Rapids.
If prostitutes are worried about getting caught, it's hard to tell in their online posts. Typical is this one on Craigslist from a female near the M-59 and Crooks area: "GREAT RATES! OLDER LADY, VERY UNDERSTANDING. ... [CALL HOTEL OR MOTEL]... CALL JEN. ... SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
The Internet is filled with paid ads and links to dozens of individuals and services that spell out the costs. Google maps even pinpoint the locations.
Many have pictures of the women and men, usually scantily clad.
It's like that all over the country, with just about every city and state.
There are even portal sites for prostitutes, linking escort services and women who advertise that they have no pimp and work independently of an agency.
It isn't just Google where the sex workers can be found. Yahoo has a category that is filled with seven pages of paid ads for sex workers.
Some of the sites try to qualify their offerings and explain away the rates they charge for their services. The boilerplate language found on most reads: "Money exchanged is for time and companionship only. This is not an offer for prostitution. Time together is between two consenting adults, and whatever else may occur is up to the individuals involved and not, in any way authorized or sponsored by the agency."
Right.
But sometimes, those who use the Net for sexual exploitation are exploited themselves.
As another indication on how fast something scandalous can be turned into a money-making opportunity, a Web site called Busted Tees is offering a $14.99 T-shirt that says: "Emperor's Club VIP Client #9."
It has been widely reported that Spitzer was the customer identified as Client #9 on the FBI warrant leading to the bust of the prostitution service.
Capitalism thrives online.

Twelve people were arrested Friday night when Wayne County sheriff's deputies busted what is alleged to be a prostitution ring that offered up women, girls and drugs at a home on Detroit's west side.
About 50 people were at the home on Hubbell, a block south of Schoolcraft, when deputies entered the home, said Sheriff Warren Evans. Eight men and four women were arrested; 31 others were ticketed for being in a house where illegal activity was taking place.
Three girls, who the sheriff's office said participated in sex acts, and four boys were released to their parents.
One or two of the men arrested lived in the Hubbell home.
The sheriff's office said patrons were charged a $10-$15 cover, $10 for a room and $60 for various sex acts.
Deputies also seized money, two guns, ecstasy pills and marijuana that appeared to be packaged for sale. There were also two makeshift bars in the single-family home where alcohol was being sold without a license.
Evans said at least one woman and two men were reportedly in charge at the party. They are expected to be charged Monday.
"We're very, very comfortable that the cases are good," he said.

a lot of these party's are at so called after hour joints, and are in some pretty ruff neighborhoods, and usually you have to park and walk a block or more. and the people at these party's are a lot guys under 21.

Checked out the Telegraph-7mile triangle around 9:00 as it was on my way home from the gym. Seen a younger WSW that had on what looked like a sportsbra. Had a bit of a belly, but cans were decent and so was her face. Would have stopped, but was only patrolling.

According to the sheriff, most of the prostitutes and johns were ticketed and released, but the girl’s mother was arrested, as were three men who appeared to be operating the party. All face charges of operating a house of Illegal occupation. The mother likely will face additional charges.
The woman’s daughter has been taken into protective custody and the other juvenile was released to her parents.
Officers confiscated three handguns along with marijuana, ecstasy pills and heroin, along with several hundred dollars in cash.
A raid in March shut down a similar operation running out of a home near Hubbel and Schoolcraft in Detroit.

They are totally different women. I got close to the original Robin from the website but never got a chance with her. The first time I met her I didn't know who she was or what she did. I sat down next to her (elbow to elbow) and didn't realize who she was. I would have had a chance that night but just my bad luck she had to leave because she was not feeling good. I have been to CT's and seen their Robin in action. She is by far no beauty queen but she does take on all comers. Be warned though it takes some fortitude to play in such an environment.
