After hearing the good word about SF AMPs, had to partake. Went to GF for the first time last Wednesday. You know the drill before Thanksgiving, fly home for the holiday, drink some beers with friends, go to an AMP. Okay, so the last is a new tradition.
Got there about 4PM, as I had to drive a few hours to see the family. Line-up was small, but good quality, 7-8. Chose Lisa, who was kind enough to mention before I sat there waiting for more that not many girls there because of the holiday and the time. Slim girl, small but natural, beautiful face.

I liked Kings and mourn its demise. GF is overrated and expensive and you may get the rush. There are a number of full service spas - mostly in the Tenderloin and thereabouts. try Sun Spa or Rainbow.
Never go to Green Door or Nuits de Paris - these are screaming ripoffs. In 14 years I have never heard anything good about them. Stay away!
If you are on the west side try the place on 25th and Lawton. This is a Chinese acupressure spa but you may be pleasantly surprised. Recommended because the facilities are clean and relatively new.

Yes, I'm so old I can remember when there were SWs in SF who actually walked! The first time I met her I had just bought a stroke mag with her in it; I stepped out the door and there she was. Just got back from San Francisco today from the Thanks Giving long weekend. On Monday I decided to hit Golden Flower. Very easy to find right on 2nd street.

Eggo - y take is you pay what you believe is the right 'value' for the services received, although i'm more inclined to only pay 'Mkt Value'.
I always pay $.6 or $.5, depending on door cover charge. Only once has someone been appalled with receiving this dollar amount - but this chick wanted $$$'s, so obviously she wasn't making any sense.
The only thing i would suggest is to tell her that if she doesn't agree to the price then you would like to pick another girl. Don't waste time, just get right to the point. Eggo, it is my opinion that the girl was not trying to take advantage of you. I think a minimum tip of 120 is expected in addition to the entrance fee at GF. I think many people at GF pay 150 in addition to the entrance fee. You're girl was not jerking you around. GF is expensive and paying 170-200 total is common there.
At any place other than GF 100-120 plus door fee is normal imho. I'd like to hear others' views on this. I hope I'm not giving out bad info.

I would have to agree with what others have said as well. My last few experiences from GF were very mechanical and not worth 150 (on top of the 50 for door fee). Most girls will haggle and haggle over price and if that is the case, they are not going to perform. What also happens is girls who get money out of you easily without a haggle may also perform horribly because they have no reason to perform since they already have your money. My first few experiences at GF were amazing porn star experiences with the women not even asking for money until after the sessions were over. From reading this board often, and from my last few times visiting GF, I know that is definitely not the norm. Service there is mostly sub par and cold, and for the most part a rip off. Too bad there aren't too many better places in the city.

Thank you, Reno Dude. It's not the same girl; Roberta was about 2" shorter and 15 pounds lighter, and her hair wasn't blonde; but Sandy and Roberta are proof that S.F., and Chinatown in particular, used to have a great SW scene.
