Keep promises to yourself
Well, I can assure you that she is NOT the girl in the pics (nor does she seem to be lawyer by any stretch of the imagination).
I called her up, and her immediate availability was my first hint that it was TGTBT. Nevertheless, I continued forward. The location she gave also sounded like another ad that I'd seen frequently in the past, one of whom I had already promised to never see, no matter how desperate I was. Nevertheless, I continued forward. I arrived at her private location, and sure enough, my suspicions were confirmed. Not only was she not as good looking as the pics (nor, it can be argued, good looking at all) , but she was also the woman I promised myself I would never see. I should have walked away the moment I saw her open the door. Nevertheless, I continued forward. $.2 and a terrible massage later, she says she doesn't do FS on the first date, and proceeds to give a horrible HJ. In the middle of it, she tells me that, if I want FS, she has a friend who will see me for free, because of some debt she owes her. So she apparently txts her friend and gives me the room number of a hotel on the other side of the city. Logic is telling me that this is ridiculous, and that I should just finish w / the HJ and be done with it.
Nevertheless, I continued forward.
And, of course, I get to the hotel room, and I hear a TV, but no one answers. I'm not sure whether that was by design, or whether the girl inside saw me and decided to pass. It matters to me little. Yes, I will acknowledge my utter stupidity in all of this, but I wasn't completely brain-dead. Yes, I should've walked when I saw she was not the girl I was looking for. Yes, I should've set my terms before any exchange took place. However, once I realized she wasn't offering much, I figured my money was already lost. And I honestly had more fun driving to the SW side than I did with the massage / HJ. And I can't really say I got scammed at the hotel, when it was supposed to be free. Plus, I was already planning on seeing some other people in that area, so it wasn't a complete waste of gas / time. Still, it was 120 punches to the face.
Nevertheless, I will continue forward.
I'm not sure if this can be considered a TOFTT moment, since I'm pretty sure everyone on the "team" would've considered this a grossly unnecessary sacrifice, and that I deserved to be had.
In the end, however, we can say with certainty that she (or, rather, the ad) is indeed TGTBT. Forgive my lengthy response.
Stay safe.
As soon as you saw the woman was the one you promised yourself not to see, you should have walked away. Beyond that your story is strikingly similar to one that was posted awhile back by someone else. All the details are amazingly exact; Girl gives crappy massage / HJ, says she doesn't do FS but has a friend who is willing to F for free, location across town, no one there or answering when you arrive.
When I have some time I should search for that story to see if it's the same girl.
Not sure I would call this one a TOFTT.
Exposing what others would have fallen for
I for one am glad you did take one. I think you did us a service by exposing what others would have fallen for. Of course no one that posted a response would have (LOL) but the fact is. Many do follow the wrong head and think,"Well maybe."
You showed us that TGTBT is called that for a reason.
And you told us with good humor. I thank you.
I still wonder why she said the friend would do it for free and send you across town? Oddly, I might have followed it, too, just to really see if it could be true. LOL
Good point Johnny. I need to remember that I learned my lessons the hard way a littler over a couple decades ago. It's been a long, long time since I ignored my instincts. Best thing to do when it seems TGTBT (or simply when the situation just doesn't feel right) is to leave.
