Just came back from Tijuana. Very interesting experience. I want say thanks to all the mongers on this site who gave great advice. So I will reconfirm and recap my experience. Stayed in San Diego on business. Drove rental car from downtown San Diego on I-5 south to Camino De La Plaza which took about 10 minutes. My friend and I went to Tijuana a few times so we got a wide range of experiences from different bars on different nights.

Best parking was either at Duty Free shop ($10) or our preference was to go east across I-5 and park at hotel next to Jack in Box for 4 bucks for 8 hours. Now, parking at hotel is on the Exit (east) side of the border, you have two walk across pedestrian bridge to get to the Entrance (west) side. We liked this because after a drunken night. Car is much closer than Duty Free Shop.

After going through turnstiles, depending on certain days (Friday and Saturday) you get a lot kids and people panhandling, just ignore and keep moving. You will see a lot of local commuters entering Mexico with their belongings in trash bags. No judgement, just an observation. You will see a line of taxis which most drivers speak decent English. Take a taxi and tell them Adelita's or Hong Kong's. In either case, you will get drop off in front of Adelita's. HK is a few building down to the right. The ride is about 4. 5 minutes and usually costs 5. 6 dollars. One night we had a guy who spoke great English we asked about Viagra. He took us to legit pharmacy and went inside to with us to purchase Cialis (based on his recommendation). Cost $15 a pill. Not sure that it worked, but technically, I don't need them. Just wanted to try. Gave him an extra tip.

Walk into Adelita's (I will post about HK experience tomorrow) , on Saturday and there are two parts. Front has two standard bars with a stage between them. The back has a satellite stage with couches around it and smaller bar. Looks a little like VIP, but no charge. The back is closed on slow nights (Monday. Tuesday). We chose to sit in front section at the bar that is connected to stage. You get the best view here. If there are girls loitering, sitting at bar. The bar tender will tell them to beat it.

You get a wide range of women at Adelita's hot to OK-looking, young to old, friendly to bitchy. I found that young girls are not aggressive. They will stand around and wait for you to approach them. The older chicas are much more aggressive and will ask you to buy them a drink, go upstairs or tip them. Like others have said, take your time and wait for something you like.

I didn't mind buying some of the friendly cute girls drinks. My buddy and I actually had a good time talking shit with the chicas (we speak virtually no Spanish). I found that they get a single ticket signed by Bartender for every drink you buy them. Their drinks are much smaller or much more watered down and more expensive than drinks for yourself. The goal for each of the girls is to ultimately go upstairs which is where they make the bulk of their money. They get charged three tickets (or $21) dollars every time they go upstairs.

Once you find a girl you like you can negotiate price. Typically they ask $60, sometimes you can talk them down to $50 and some of the older ones you can them to $40. Most girls I met wanted $60 and was firm on it, which I was OK with. You walk toward the door, wait for them to get their coat. You go outside to the left and up the stairs to hotel. Here, you have to pay $12 for the room. If you have a drink, your date will politely pour your drink in a plastic cup. I imagine this to be a safely precaution to avoid getting cracked in the head. The front desk tells them room number and off you go. Room is very simple, bed with mirror, sink and bathroom. Check it out and lock door. I usually pay up front and strip. The chica will strip down to her birthday suit, get a condom on you and perform fellatio. They all keep a small tube of gel to get them lubed up as well. Once you are done, they will shower or wash vagina in the sink. Upon exit, the hotel guy will ask for tip to clean room. On this night, we found a guy in white van and for $5 a piece we take you across in van via Sentri line. We waited about 15mins to get van filled and off we went. Showed passports and was eating delicious burgers at Jack in the Box. On future nights, we made sure we left by 3:00am to beat the Mexican workers lining up to commute into USA
