Are Boston AMPs Next?
Just a guess / warning because Boston PD is involved in the investigation of AMPs in other communities:

No secret to anyone what goes on in those places and with sex slaves & illegals being put to work LE has more of a reason to always be watching these places which is why I NEVER go near these places! Too many other options to take such a foolish risk like the "hand job mills"

Terribly misinformed

Case in point: when the new law went in to effect south of us a couple of years ago, many of those "slaves" refused to come to work (did not know "slaves" had that option). No, these are just trumped up charges to make it look like LE is eradicating the world of such evil. In reality just look at how many cases of trafficking result in convictions. Very, very rare. No, it's just a huge waste of taxpayer resources while real criminals run amok out of control because it would take REAL work to stop that.
No, most of these ladies are there of their own free will albeit maybe due to need but maybe just because they like the money. More than a few even seem to enjoy themselve, too! Yes, it might not be the most glamorous profession but most are there because they choose to be and are not enslaved.
Most often "slavery" will occur at UTR places such as AAMPs where you'll notice considerably lower fees posted for services and a high turnover of girls. This, I think, is a red flag (albeit not always an indicator of trafficking) and these are the places I personally would avoid.
But an AMP? Give me a break. You are terribly misinformed and only contributing to the FUD.

ND[/QUOTE]I do think some slavery happens at a certain level when these girls are new to the county and have to "work" off there financial obligation, but that is a choice they made to get here and while I am sure there are some that are forced into this, there are many who started working at resto's or nail salons making minimum wages or less who found this "earning" opportunity to earn much more money and decided to do this. I personally have been to several of these "Slaves" apartments in Flushing and spent some time with them outside of the Spa's as normal people. I can tell you first hand that they live normal lifes outside the Spa's, they have bank accounts, pay taxes and do the same things you and I do as US citizens when they are not working. Is there Slavery going on in this country? YES! There is, is it happening at every Spa, NO! It isn't. LE uses the Slavery card to make it look like they are actually doing police work instead of busting a few consensual adults who want to have some fun.
Most of the Spa's closed in Providence on the own mostly out of fear and harassment from LE, the girls refuse to come back and work here, is that a choice Slaves can make?

Based on what I've read from you and others in the Mass and RI boards, I have the impression that the Flushing community you're talking about is where the Korean MP workers go. I don't have the slightest doubt that here in the Northeast. 99 and 44 hundredth percent or more of the Korean MP workers are not "slaves" in any way shape or form (I think I've read about some dubious cases out on the West Coast, but I don't know chapter and verse). But when it comes to Chinese AMP workers, and especially (like somebody else said earlier) Chinese AAMP workers, I do have more doubts. And as far as I could tell from their names and photos, the two boss women in the three Wellesley / Boston Area arrests are Chinese. So maybe their employees are Chinese too, and maybe *some* of them are closer to being "trafficked" than you or I would like.
But I still don't think it was likely they were slaves. When the INS / ICE guys do bust slave-traders, like those Mexicans who were shipping deaf-and-dumb girls up from MX to New York brothels a few years ago, they aren't shy about advertising the TRIALS and CONVICTIONS. In Waterbury and Providence not a single trial on "trafficking" or "slavery" charges, not to mention not a single conviction, was ever reported that I saw. And I read the papers really closely on this kind of stuff.

If you can't do that then, rather than convictions, how about anyone just prosecuted for it?

Here
OMG I finally found some people on the boards that actually understand how these fake human trafficking advocates have created hysteria in the media, costing the USA 250 million a year to police the sex lives of consenting adults even when they meet in private. One of the worst is Dr Melissa Farely, she was arrested 13 times in CA 20 years ago for going into book stores and tearing up playboys like a crazy person. She has a one of these fake charities and not only does she not provide any services to the few real victims, she uses the money to tour the country like a politician lying about how many teens are being exploited. She even gets 30% of her annual budget from the justice dept. If your interested and learning more about the myths and misconceptions surrounding sex work, check out these 2 links.

LAWRENCE — Some 29 people, including 15 men who were charged with soliciting prostitutes, were arrested Thursday in a 'Quality of Life' crime sting in downtown Lawrence.
The operation, which also resulted in four alleged hookers being arrested, focused on ridding the Broadway and South Union Street areas of 'prostitution, drugs and other quality of life issues, ' said Police Capt. Roy Vasque.
Police pinpointed the Broadway and South Union Street areas due to 'past arrests, officer's observations and citizen's complaints, ' Vasque said.
Known prostitutes working in both areas and johns looking for the services of prostitutes were targeted. Arrests for drug and firearm offenses, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct were also made during the sting, which started Thursday afternoon and stretched into the evening, according to Vasque.
Detectives and police officers from Lawrence, as well as North Andover and state police, participated in the sting Thursday night.
Around 5 p. M, an undercover state trooper worked in the Broadway and Tremont street areas. She was offered $5 to $20 to perform variety of sex acts, resulting in arrests. Earlier, another female trooper worked undercover at Broadway and Valley streets, also netting numerous arrests for solicitation, according to police reports.
The following people were arrested on the following charges:
