I read the new law passed by the Florida House four times getting more upset each time I read it.

It is hard to fathom that having any kind of consensual sex with a woman for an agreed upon amount can lead to a felony after the second conviction. I have an older friend age 74 that looks 80 and it would be impossible for him to get a date with an attractive younger lady so in order to satisfy his sexual needs he either goes to a Massage Parlor or a BP Provider for a HJ. He averages two visits a month and this satisfies his needs. He is scared to death now that his pristine record will be tarnished if he gets caught and is stressed out thinking that he will not be sexually satisfied in the near future.

I discussed this with him and was very candid telling him if arrested to request a trial by Jury and tell the frigging truth. You are single, older, you are insecure about your looks and women don't find you attractive. Therefore, the only way to satisfy your needs is to pay for it. There is NO OTHER alternative. Why should he be denied some enjoyment / satisfaction in his later years. If a guy is married I would understand a guilty verdict in an arrest but an older single man with desires, come on. Bet he would not be convicted.

I am in the process of writing my local State Representative Mr. Tobia and expressing my distain for this dumb law using my friend as an example. My friend cannot afford to fly to Nevada every time he wants the closeness of a woman.

Bad enough under the current law a third conviction is a felony but wanting to make only 2 strikes is insane.

Are elections coming up? Bad mojo is always tied to elections. Etc etc.

I agree the law is not one that helps any of us looking for some relief. However, in the words of every defense attorney in the country. "keep your mouth shut". Don't talk to the police, don't admit to ANYTHING, and for goodness sake don't ever think that a jury is going to side with you no matter what your age. Juries are required, by law, to go by the evidence. Admitting that you paid for sex, is an admission of guilt and a judge can and probably will overturn any jury ruling based on admission of guilt, no matter whose grandfather you may be. Best defense. "STFU". A strike is a strike. 3 and you're OUTA here.

We've all seen them but we as a group never do anything about them. I'd like to suggest that we take a slightly more proactive approach to deal with them. I have for the past two weeks, been doing just that on this ad. I log it as spam and answer the robot question that pop up when doing so, and it just keeps showing up in this county and Orlando as well. Maybe if more people would do this that it might have an impact and get that ad banned!!
