If this story is to be believed. And these guys think it should be. Some detective called a complainant back with his #metoo story, a guy decides late at night to randomly get amassage for a hurt shoulder, there was "mutual groping" and then he randomly left, and more.

I saw this yesterday and as usual there is no effort to determine if there is trafficking nor any effort to close the pimps down. The only effort goes into busting the buyers like that will stop the crime of human trafficking. The demand will always be there like it has since the dark ages. Prostitution is a crime but why are the street walkers getting a free ride? Who is the real victim here? The cops focus on the Johns because they are the easy target, they have cash and typically have no guns.

Cops were watching a high traffic area and simply picked up a guy after seeing a girl get into his car. Most likely he'll get some sort of diversion and eventually expungement and she'll never get charged. Doesn't seem like it was anything elaborate or excessively planned or whatever. I remember in the past seeing stuff on that show called Cops where the girl was an undercover police officer and had backup from cops as well. This looked like they just went out there cause it was getting out of hand.

SW stuff is just way too risky for me but to each it's own. Hopefully soon all of this stuff just gets decriminalized and we don't have to worry about it.

Wasn't sure if the mods were going to allow the link to the mostly unredacted police report, but I guess it's OK if we don't mention any of the names here in the forum.

The case I posted was dismissed, apparently because the john didn't clearly confess to a sex for money deal. Another case was also dismissed for presumably similar reasons. Two men skipped their Aug arraignment date and probably have bench warrants out for them. The remaining 8 cases have pretrial hearings scheduled for Sep, so it will be interesting to see if any go all the way to trial. I'll be monitoring the court action online from up here in the Seattle area, and report any final resolutions or other noteworthy developments.

Special thanks to KOIN 6 for providing the names of the 12 men arrested in their Jul 19 report so we could learn about how these "separate & interrogate" busts are conducted, and the value of exercising your right to remain silent and request an attorney even if you're in the intimidating position of sitting in a cop car in handcuffs.

But the cops didn't just decide to show up. They got federal trafficking funds to do it and were happy to take the money and get some OT. This was a pretty good sized surveillance operation. Not officer friendly looking into some complaints and happen to catch a few in the act.

I know for a fact one guy was arrested after leaving the hotel with a hooker. They watched him go in and busted him as he drove off.
