There is a reason I didn't mention a names and location. Hazy references are often all that is needed. As I’ve pointed out previously, LE is not the only entity to be weary of out on the streets. Neighborhood do-gooders , street toughs and even some members of this site, have been known to fuckup a good thing.

Supereloquent - I admire, for the most part, your heavy activity and reporting. However, not to be overly critical, but you've already disclosed the name and location of an individual who provides short-term accommodations to mongers and their finds, and now identifying a corner where a high degree of activity occurs and where a lot of local SW's frequent.

This level of specificity isn't always smart, since although LE is pretty hip to most active corners, they have also been known to monitor this board and step up their activity based on info provided in it. This, in turn, leads to a greater likelihood that our favorite SWers will be pinched in a raid and disappear off the Ave for accommodations on State Road.

A little careful thought as to the level of specificity of info in your reports might be a good thing - one guy named Dennis is already feeling the heat your reports have generated. Just a suggestion - helpful info is cool, inadvertently ruining people's lives isn't.

However, in my own defense, the vast majority of my information is usually LESS specific than that of many other mongers regarding streets, street corner hangouts, favorite street strolls by particular SWs, etc. After all, some degree of specificity is necessary to make the information useful. I normally make a conscious effort not to reveal anything more specific than I have to (usually referring to an 'area' rather than a corner, for example) or that is already known from previous posts.

Regarding Dennis in particular, it would be extremely difficult if not impossible to find the place in question without some very specific knowledge, the details of which I have never reported except for the street (but it is a VERY long street; mentioning it would be about as useful to LE as mentioning the K, or the innumerable side streets from K, or Torresdale or Old York). However, I must agree that even mentioning the street was not an essential piece of information and I will take your constructive criticism to heart.

Believe me; I am not trying to be rude. I do want you to realize that what you did was a no, no. And worst, it wasn’t necessary. The street is not that big. At least the section near the “K,” isn’t. Certainly his neighbors and family can make the connection. Putting together two and two isn’t that hard.

You gave a name. Don’t be so naive. The first mistake we all make is to believe that we are so smart and everyone else is dummies. Never underestimate LE (or the neighborhood watch). If I can figure it out, so can they. All one has to do is go to the area on the “K,” using the directions we’ve already provided and have an undercover pickup a girl and suggest that they go to Dennis’s (the name you’ve provided). And; thanks to you the undercover has a name to make him seem more like a regular monger. So the girl figures the undercover must be okay because he knows about Dennis’s (the name you provided). So she takes the undercover to Dennis’s (the name you provided). And if he charges the undercover the amount you gave, it’s a good bust. They will likely wait a few days and raid the place after watching others enter (to protect the undercover guy they never do the raid on the same day). They will probably charge someone with promoting prostitution, harass everyone inside, and we’ll lose a notel and the person you name will likely lose his home.

Please re-read my post. That’s all the information anyone who actually travels the “K,” needed.

I only posted that much info because mongers are always looking for a safe, cheap, nearby place to take a date. No additional info was needed. Why you felt a name and street was necessary is beyond me. There is a reason why we don’t use our names; give out our phone numbers, home address, job information or any other personal stuff. There is a reason why some girls prefer to use stage names, change hair color, and don’t openly post their phone numbers as contact information. There is a reason why the admin of this site doesn’t want us to post numbers or personal contact information in the open forums. There are reasons for our discretion.

And here is one more thing to think about. I always ask the girls permission before posting their pictures (and name). I didn’t ask his permission because I didn’t plan on posting his name or location. Did you ask his permission before advertising his business?

Firstly, CuriousJoe: You say you seldom post here and mostly "lurk"; in other words you you are not too much on sharing information but prefer to leech off the information provided by others and not too shy to throw a big verbal rock even though you ADMIT that you haven't spent much time on the K since the 80s! So what wakes up your ire NOW? I bet you were one of the guys that piled on when playing football.

The big fuss is about a guy who provides an indoor place, but SWs are fair game? What kind of hypocrisy is that? The issues are specifics like names and streets so why don't we apply the same rules to SWs for THEIR protection?: no mention of names (including SWs, who sometimes use their real names although aliases are no less real). While we are at it let's not mention streets or street corners or places like bars and restaurants and stores. And what could be more SPECIFIC than photos? Do you play chess? You are defending a bad position. You are attacking and in chess that would be the thing to do. However, this isn’t chess. Think about it. You do agree that it wasn’t one of your best moves, right? So why did you do it? It’s wasn’t helpful. It wasn’t necessary. Now you are attacking me. Why? Because I pointed out you mistake?

Better, more intelligent and knowledgeable fellows than I have tried to justify putting nude photos on the internet, in magazines and other public forums. It's not like they are out there seeing 5 guys in a row either. More often than not they aren't even going back to the corner where I picked them up but rather to a known drug house area. Most are just looking for enough money for their next high. The gals who are seeing multiple customers , again, in my experience, are often suburban gals who drive into the city. not usually for drugs but doing it to make some extra money, and generally have even better hygiene than the drug users. They usually want to be driven back to their cars so they can stash their money so as not to be robbed, and head home after a few dates. I have never experienced bad body odor. As always, YMMV.

It has been my experience that the better looking a woman is, the less likely she is to have a great attitude, and, if she is a SW, she is likely to be all business, hurried and with high priced haggling. If you want that kind of cold, unfeeling, cardboard experience and don't want the human element, I recommend just thinking about a great looking woman and having a fun, free experience playing with yourself in a hot soapy shower. Now there are exceptions to every rule, and a good looking SW with a great attitude is a rare find indeed and well worth the effort to find her. But spending more money is not the key. You can find many such SWs on the Ave with a little hard work and perseverance. SWs with a good attitude are generally not pressing the price, and just about any gal on the Ave will settle for an Ave rate with good negotiation on your part. I find that a MUCH better bargain than AMPs or escorts. They are all doing it for dough; you aren't always necessarily getting anything better just because you are paying more for it. And with SWs you are paying a lot less for your "research" in the event you find a dud. With AMPs you are paying for the overhead and management of the place, and with an escort you are paying for the convenience of "delivery" and the risks she is assuming. And many of the escorts are supporting drug habits, just like the SWs on K. In fact, I have dated several of them, and their SW price is a small fraction of their escort price. Picking up SWs is just a way to eliminate the middle man and do your shopping directly.

Plus, where pics are concerned, you have to keep in mind the biggest variable of all: the willingness to do it. Many of the really good looking SWs are occasional practitioners from the burbs who have families, friends and neighbors and do not desire to have their naked pics posted on the internet. So many (note that I did not say ALL; there are some very attractive SWs who don't mind having their pics taken) of the pics you are likely to see are good looking SWs with faces blanked out (by their request) or haggard, druggie and/or unattractive SWs who don't give a damn and will pose for just about anything for an extra Ham.

In any event, it would be an injustice to think of all SWs as represented by the pics you see posted. Many of the best you will never see at all except in person.

Unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse and sharing needles is considered a high risk situation for contracting HIV. I was away on business for a few days and my brother has access to my computer. Did you ever let your logon to this site be automatic for convenience instead of having to type in the password?
