Part of the reason for calling down really fishy posts is to remind all readers that the newbie may be a LEO. An intelligent monger, even an area newbie, generally will have enough common sense to back down when corrected. It was the defiant response that indicated, to me, that he was either a pissed-off, but impotent LEO; or an asshole monger who probably will never "get it," and never make a decent contributor here. Although new to this board not new to Roanoke scene. I have had mixed success on some of the streets mentioned in the forums (yup I do my homework). Most of the ladies are very paranoid about LE (DUH) and naturally I am concerned as well. But I am more afraid of getting jacked or worse. Robb, I can only speak from my own experience (which comes from nearly 30 years of traveling and mongering). I look at the place issue this way: mongering is a dangerous hobby and there are definite security risks no matter what you do, if you ever feel uneasy....bail, ALWAYS. Its not worth ruining your life over trying to get-off one time.
I am one who will go to the gal's place (prefer it providing it's secure). My advice: her hotel room is usually OK since you can look around to be sure the place is clear, her apartment/house is OK if you have to talk her into it (her main worry is that you will come around and become a nuisance or worse). Her place is NOT OK if she pressures you to go to her place ONLY and right off the bat, if she says she has a place but its her "uncle's" and you have to pony up some extra jack (that means its a crack house and those folks will bust a cap in you over a pic of Abe) I won't go there. I don't go in a place where others males are (ask who else is there before you go in). I won't go into a hotel where you have to go in a lobby (people could ID you and there are security cameras so if your deal with her goes south then she can claim rape/assault and there are witnesses and tape to support that you were there).
Main advantage of her place: You are totally anonymous, she can't track you or claim rape, or show up at your home or get your home address, or show up at your office during business hours. You can check out how she lives, if she's totally strung out and lives like a junkie then you might want to think twice.

That was an excellent summary of location precautions. And largely I tend to agree. Since I am the one who wrote the report Robb brought up, your summary saved me some typing.

Hillsville is near a possibly fabled bar that has friendly patrons hanging around. My reading of the board (VA Other areas) indicates there is something near the NC border along I-77. I have trolled the highways and byways in about a 10 mile radius with no positive ID of this wonderful little truckers bar. But alas, it was always when I was passing thru, so I could not be thorough. Intel also suggests that you will need a CDL to get in if you do find it. It occurs to me, locals from that area may provide the intel to another local and possibly even get past the CDL thing. Would love to know if you learn anything during your stay.

This is probably a bit out of the way for Hillsville but when lovelos posted about I-77 it triggered my memory. There is a place in Salisbury NC called second breath (do a google search and you can find the website or back chanel and I will give you a link). I have only been there once and it was decent. Converted house which is now a go-go type lounge. There is no cover charge, no booze served, and the gals dance in bikinis. You pick the one you want and go for a private show (cost for private show is around 50). Your mileage may vary on what you get but it seems that a lot of it is just show and tell. When I went I got lucky and got a nice rub and tug. Went to a decent location, got another half/half for .04. I'm telling you, she has really good oral skills and a nice pussy. Seeing her in the daylight, she looks a lot better than I realized. Met Trina around 18th and campbell Monday and Friday at about 0530. She's out real early. Did half and half for $.4 with tip. Was worth it. She's a BSW that I guess some of you would call a spinner, real skinny. "A" cups, gap in teeth, and about a 4 on sw scale in the face. But when you're needing it, what can you do. Looked for Chocolate, but couldn't find her, damn it.

Yea a couple of weeks ago there quite a few gals on the stroll. I passed through when I couldn't partake unfortunatly so just had to window shop. Went back a few days later and as always if you don't check all your bulbs, even your tag light don't be surprised if you get asked what you are doing there.

I've been through between 430 am and 6 and found a couple, see reports on Trina and Chocolate. I've also been through between 1200 pm and 200 pm and seen only one, again see Chocolate. Both worth it for the most part, but as they say YMMV.
