Is it just me or has this area slowed way down? Saw a leggy brunette in jeans a week and a half ago - she disappeared before I could get around for a confirmation drive-by. Elkhart action very hit and miss lately. Spent some great time with a WSW named Sherry who provides a near GFE. Inteligent talkative and excellent all arround skills. There are two voicemail systems. Quest (968.1111) is the better working of the two, but after an initial 30 free minutes you have to pay. The other used to be called Private Lines (970.3300 in Elkhart; 968.5463 in South Bend). It has been "improved", but I don't think much of it. However, it is currently completely free.
I finally saw Sherry again on last Thursday. She has a place on Marion, but I didn't pay attention to the number.
Finally, the north end is between 2nd and 3rd, north of Jackson up to Pottawotami.

Kitty Kat lounge set for demolition
Sites on South Michigan Street to be cleared for development.

SOUTH BEND — Demolition of the former Kitty Kat Lounge Adult Club and the former Great Lakes Windows buildings on the 1300 block of South Michigan Street is scheduled to begin Wednesday.
The city intends to turn the lots into sites for new development. Sharon Kendall, executive director of community and economic development, said the demolition will allow more opportunities for commercial growth.
“We look forward to new investment that will complement the new commercial growth on the south side and help to enhance the quality of life for our residents,” Kendall said.
This is part of phase one of planned economic development along the city’s South Gateway commercial corridor. The four sites could become retail, office or institutional sites, officials said.
The second phase includes demolishing the former Glo Worm and Quarterback Lounge in the 700 block of South Michigan Street. Demolition of those buildings is expected to be later this month. The city bought Glo Worm, Quarterback Lounge and Teasers strip bar for $241,250 in late 2005.
The redevelopment commission bought the Kitty Kat Lounge and Great Lakes Windows properties in May 2005 for $175,000 from Arthur T. Ford. Ford is serving a four-year federal prison term for convictions of promoting prostitution tied to the former strip club, which closed in 2004.

Made a single pass thru downtown tonight around 6 and was shocked. I think the St Joe Bed-n-breakfast mustve released a few guests because S-Mich was packed!
