Obviously, if the activities were unknown to the proprietor, he would be blameless, but like a Days Inn I saw a few years ago in MN, when the ladies are strolling in his parking lot day and night, the activity becomes obvious, thereby his duty to ensure the safety of his hotel guests. (Funny story, PM for the punchline) Best example would be the Dram Shop laws. If someone gets drunk at your house, drives home and plows into someone on the way, you could be held liable for his actions.

A friend of mine was saying that bicycle riding has become all the rage in the QC over the last two weeks.
He said he’s seen guys riding in pairs all over the place, even in areas previously known for bike riders.
He said that recent TV reports claimed that some of these guys had been reading message boards to find out where the best places to ride were at.

I drove around the GasHouse twice this week and detected a bit of activity in two of the usual places; the porch gurls a few blocks behind the KW in Airline were ready to greet their regulars, and saw a couple of WSW on the street parallel to Firestone.

Also spotted another one on Main a few blocks away. This was at around noon one day and around 11 AM on the second trip.

The usual places in the QC have been almost devoid of any action (at least during the day/noon hours). A pretty sad condition if you ask me, but at least the GasHouse is not that far away and it seems to be getting a tad better.

Cruised around Gashouse on Wednesday. Didn't see much. I'm not sure but I think I have found the green shack behind the KW. If anybody can confirm the location shoot me a Private message. LE in Charlotte and surrounding area has not as yet resorte to impounding a mongers vehicle. But it had been rumored (RTFF) that LE had a program where they sent letters to a mongers home addressed to the Mrs if your vehicle were spotted curising through known SW zones. I imagine they would find your address from your license plate.

There were also some religious zealouts out taking video images of vehicles and God knows what they were doing with them. This stopped after a minister was arrested in one of the zones soliciting an undercover officer during a sting. Poetic justice I say.

To be the largest city in North Carolina and one of the largest cities in the south east, the powers don't see prostitution as much a threat in Charlotte as it is in other areas of the country, hence no outrageous consequences as of yet.

To my knowledge, vehicles do not get impounded and your name or photo is not publicly displayed. If I am incorrect will someone please correct me. I finally saw something yesterday here in Hickory, but am still just shopping the area. I think I saw a tall, thin and maybe a little wornout wsw in front of the convenience store on the southern end. On first pass she was talking to a group of guys who looked to crisp and clean to be anything but dealers, maybe a 8 on the sws. Second pass gave a better look at her face. As many years as I've worked and played in the Gashouse, it still amazes me, or rather Fred and Darrell whose report this is based on an usual. The rest of this report is based upon a conversation with one of them. On my way into the 2nd shift tonight, I made a quick pass-through all the main areas as well as some of Fred and Darrell's less well known haunts.
