It is good we have this section where people can air their concerns. I'm sticking with my assertion that we do really have a good community here with good quality information being shared. They both had many posts commenting, comparing, complaining and getting deleted by admin before they ever took one for the team. I'm not sure they ever did TOFTT, they found fault with everyone's reviews after they went in for a follow up. They forgot the part where YMMV.

I encourage the good providers to read this forum so they know they are being reviewed for thousands to see. So Blame me! Knowing a bad review could ruin their business keeps more of them honest.

The amount of self promotion you are referring to is minimal. Most of us seasoned mongers can see it and ignore it.

The biggest problem with self promotion seems to be in the MP section. We call it out when it gets too obvious.

I remember Sweetie Stan, the owner of Bella Gente did a terrible job of self promotion for all of her girls. We called her out on this forum, she didn't stay in business very long. A2 has called out a few too, he told us it's our job to monitor the newbie posts for self promotion. He gave us a few hints that have been very helpful.
