I was spending too much on this hobby anyway so I guess now is the time to save money. With ICE cracking down on the country, it may just get worse around the state.

I find it hard to believe that any town attorney would advise the mayor that sending those letters would be a good idea?

They also set up a hotline for victims and witnesses to call. I'm guessing that every Karen in town will be ringing that phone, but zero victims. LOL.

It would be begging for a slander / libel lawsuit.

Over the next few months, Methuen police surveilled the massage parlor with help from Lawrence police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)."

So. One needs to assume that anyone visiting since the beginning of this year has been actively surveilled. Even though the resident who had been snapping pics and writing down plate numbers gave them to the PD, the active surveillance is probably that which they have been talking about regarding letters, etc. Maybe.
